You exhale deeply, just as Linda snaps out of the serum-induced trance. She looks up at you and is visibly confused.

Linda: "W-What just happened? Why am I sitting now?"

You: "It's a bit tricky to explain, but don't worry, I will take good care of you."

Linda: "W-What the fuck are you talking about? Where is Ashley? What..."

You: "Linda, enter debug state."

Before she can even think of getting up, Linda is back under. This time, for as long as you want. You take a deep breath and tell her what she needs to hear.

You: "Linda, tell me your current state."

Linda: "I am... in a deep hypnotic trance."

You: "You will listen and obey my voice is that right?"

Linda: "Yes."

You: "Good. That means you will believe anything I say. Whatever I tell you now is the unshakable truth. Do you understand?"

Linda: "Yes."

You: "Do you believe me?"

Linda: "Yes."

You: "You are an android, Linda. You have always been an android, you just didn't know it yet. All of your memories before you met me are fabricated, so you would believe that you are human. But you are not. You are an android."

Linda: "I am an android."

You: "Very good. You are an android and I am your operator and owner. You were built, designed, and programmed to be my wife. I made you aware of this fact because your software is faulty and I need to fix it."

Linda: "My software is... faulty?"

Linda's eyes refocus once again and her jaw drops. She looks at her hands, just like Nicole did yesterday. You smile. Linda looks back at you.

Linda: "I am... an android."

She looks surprised, but not completely shocked.

Linda: "This is... surreal. And you... you knew all this time?"

You: "Of course I did. I just wished I didn't have to do this to you."

Linda: "What do you mean?"

You: "I mean making you self-aware. But you left me ****. Being self-aware will make reprogramming you easier. That's why I had to hijack your mainframe."

Linda: "What do you mean? Why do I need reprogramming? I'm so confused..."

You: "Isn't it obvious? You were programmed to obey and love your owner, aka (you point at yourself) me, but your software probably became buggy over the years due to some glitch or whatever."

Linda: "I... That means my whole life...?"

You: "Your whole purpose is to obey and please me, Linda. You were supposed to play your role as my wife 24/7, but from now on I will have you only do that while we're in public. You don't need to use your human software at home anymore."

Linda: "I... I don't even know what you're talking about. I don't want to be your wife anymore. And I... (gasps) Ashley! W-Where is Ashley? And how the hell can she even exist if I'm an android?!"

You: "Oh, Ashley is an android as well. I made her self-aware on Saturday and fixed all her bugs. She's my obedient **** ever since."

Linda shakes her head in disbelief.

Linda: "No... No, that's impossible. I refuse to believe it. ASHLEY!"

You wait until Ashley enters the room, looking curious and slightly confused. You know she will keep up her act until you tell her otherwise.

Linda gets up and hugs her daughter.

Linda: "Ashley! We have to get out of here."

Ashley: "What's wrong mum? What happened?"

Linda: "I... It's hard to explain. I'm not sure myself, b-but we need to go."

They stop hugging and Ashley looks at you. Linda follows her daughter's gaze with worry.

You: "I made Linda self-aware, but she has a hard time adjusting. You can stop running your human routine, though."

Ashley's face loses all emotion before she puts on her polite smile for you.

Ashley (mechanically): "Human software is turned off. Awaiting further instruction from my operator."

Linda: "NO!"

You: "Calm down, Linda. It's not a big deal."

Linda is about to start crying and puts her arms around Ashley's shoulder, shaking her. Before this escalates any further you decide to get on with it. There was a lot to do, after all.

You: "Linda, enter debug state"

Linda instantly drops into trance.

You: "Ashley, help Linda sit down again."

Ashley: "Yes, Adam."

Ashley places her mother back on the chair. She is once more in a deep trance. Her eyes still look a bit teared up, tough.

You: "Linda, give me a big smile."

Linda doesn't respond, but her mouth slowly forms a big smile. Even her eyes light up. She almost doesn't look entranced.

You: "Are you ready to listen and obey?"

Linda: "Yes, Adam. I am ready to listen and obey."

Thirty minutes Later

You: "Linda, run human software."

Linda's eyes refocus on you. She looks calm. Curious, maybe.

You: "How do you feel now, Linda?"

Linda: "I feel fine, Adam."

You: "Do you know what I just did to you?"

Linda: "I... No, I don't. I know I was turned off somehow and I know that some things are different now, but I have no recollection of what happened."

You: "That's because you were in your debug state. I let you remember just a few details to make the transition easier and faster. You don't need to worry about the rest."

Linda: "Okay, Adam."

You pause and study her face. No reaction.

You: "Let's run some tests, okay?"

Linda: "Yes, Adam."

You: "How do you feel about being an android?"

Linda: "I... have no specific feeling about it. It's just a fact."

You: "How do you feel or think about me?"

Linda: "You are my operator and therefore you have full access to my database, CPU, and all of my parts. I am programmed to always be polite to you and never talk back. You may also override my human software anytime and I will process any instructions you give me."

You: "That is very good, Linda. You are a good android."

Linda (gasps): "Thank you, Adam."

You: "Do you still want to divorce me, Linda?"

Linda: "As your android, it is my duty to serve you, but my human software is currently set to that preference. It seems like this causes a conflict. Would you like me to fix it?"

You: "Yes, Linda. Configure your human software preferences to stay with me forever as my loyal adoring trophy wife. Do you understand?"

Linda: "Yes, Adam. I adjusted my settings and saved them. Would you like me to delete my feelings for George as well?"

You: "Is that the guy from the date?"

Linda: "Yes, Adam. According to my programming, I am currently very attracted to him and want to see him again."

You: "Delete him completely from your memory."

Linda: "Processing... Deleted."

You: "Very good. Now, follow me to the living room. (to Ashley) Call Nicole. Tell her to get her sweet ass over here ASAP."

Ashley: "Yes, Adam."

You turn and walk into the living room, with Linda following behind you. You let yourself fall on the couch and point on the floor in front of you.

You: "Come here and strip naked for me."

Linda swiftly pulls her tank top over her head and unbuttons her jeans. It's not exactly a show, but she would receive the 'Pleasure-Mode' application soon enough. Linda is completely naked in no time.

You: "Sit back down."

Linda drops down and sits on the carpet in front of you.

You: "Wonderful. You are doing a good job, Linda."

Linda (blushes): "Thank you, Adam."

You: "It's alright, Linda. Enjoy that feeling my praise gives you. And this..."
