About demons...

Demons are manifestations of mortal desires, traits, insecurities...you name it. They seem to take the form of any symbols of power in your world that best reflect their nature. However, do not let their symbolic appearance fool you; just because it looks like an angel, that doesn't make it some celestial emissary to be hailed as a sign from above. It is as much a demon as a lamia or succubus. Its form merely indicates its alignment in the eternal struggle between Law and Chaos.

Regardless of your stance on the conflict, you'll need the services of demons to survive. While some demons may be sympathetic to your cause, almost all of them require compensation for their services. It's up to you to negotiate the terms, but do be aware that all pacts require an exchange of life **** or mana to be fully binding.

Relax, you might even enjoy the process! Why, you ask? Wherever we are seems to be a virtual treasure trove of carnal desire. As such, most demons drawn into battle reflect that.
