Abbie and Jake join Nicole and Simon

"Since we had a bit of a headstart," Nicole said, "you both have some catching up to do." She returned her attention to Simon, and the two of them began kissing again.

Abbie brought her positive energy back toward Jake. "Well, are you going to kiss me or what?"

Jake was still not entirely himself. The dynamic had changed, now that he wasn't the only one in Abbie's world. Abbie took his face in her hands and planted her lips on his, but after a moment, she pulled back away.

"Jake? What's going on with you?"

"I don't know ..."

"Do you want to go on this endless adventure with me?"

Jake looked at her. He absolutely did. He was nervous, and he was scared, and although there seemed to be no boundaries between him and Abbie, he suddenly was unclear about how boundaries worked anywhere else.

"I haven't done this before either, Jake. I don't know these people. Let's just see where it goes."

Jake nodded. "You're right. Let's see where it goes." He focused on Abbie, staring into her eyes, touching her hair, her face, her smile. He brought his lips to hers, and gently kissed her. Her mouth was warm, her lips just slightly moist. The kiss was soft and tender.

After what seemed like an eternity, Abbie slowly released the kiss. "Jake," she said quietly. "That was the greatest kiss I have ever had." She took a deep breath. "I don't care what happens in here, I am taking you home with me tonight!" She giggled, and her body quivered with excitement. "Do that again!"

Jake laughed. He took Abbie's head in his hands once more, and kissed her again. He teased her with his tongue, and she teased back. Her arms went around his back, gripping his skin, one hand idly touching the top of his bathing suit. His hands were on her back and shoulders, rubbing her arms, and then around her head, stroking her hair.

As they relaxed and let go of what was likely the second greatest kiss Abbie had ever had, they became of Nicole looking at them.

"Simon's in trouble, because I want some of that."
