Chapter 24 by zankoo zankoo

What's next?

Abbie and Jake have an audience

Jake was lost in the reverie of this World Of Abbie, when something made him open his eyes. He didn't quite know what -- Abbie hadn't spoken, there wasn't a sound or a splash or anything, he just ... snapped to attention and turned his head.

There's often a split second of recognition, when someone is caught staring at them. Embarrassed or ashamed, they look away quickly, averting their eyes, pretending they hadn't been staring -- but that split second of eye contact lingers. They know they were caught. They feel their heart racing, they feel their nerves tingling. And most of the time, they stubbornly dig their heels in and resist ever looking back.

This time, as Jake turned to look out across the pool deck, he made eye contact with a total stranger -- and although the stranger felt that twinge of guilt being caught, they didn't look away.

Jake still had his hands on Abbie, but his mind was now halfway across the pool. How long had he and Abbie been watched? Were they intrigued or bothered ... or maybe aroused? Jake wasn't the most outgoing person, and despite Abbie's penchant for talking to anyone and doing anything, Jake was at his most comfortable when it was just he and Abbie. And this moment of connection with an unknown soul by the pool, it left Jake unsure what his next move should be.

His initial reaction was to pull Abbie's bikini bottoms back up. But he didn't know how much the stranger could see, or whether they could even tell that he and Abbie had been kind of messing around. He didn't want to draw unnecessary attention to something that may be still unknown. As a compromise, he slowly moved one hand to mask some of what he presumed might be seen as inappropriate.

He kept his eyes out, hoping to see some kind of a gesture or reaction from across the pool. He kept rubbing Abbie's ass slowly, though his more specific attention between her legs had slowed. She didn't mind -- physical attention was still physical attention, and Abbie was happily relaxing on the chair, melted under Jake's soft touch.

But now the person watching him was part of the moment. Anything else Jake did, whatever move he made next, he had an audience.

Who is watching them?
