In the guest bathroom, a grumpy Stef twists a knob to start the hot water. The walk-in shower, boxed in with green glass, begins to fog up. She makes a point not to look at Adella as she wiggles out of her jeans and briefs. She keeps seeing Riley on her bed and feeling Adella’s hand around her cock. “Oh my god.” Jess rolls her eyes. “I love her so much. I wouldn’t put up with her shit if I didn’t. I don’t know how to describe what’s happening to me right now. Midlife crisis doesn’t do it justice.”

“Can I help?”

“Oh, you’re helping,” Jess replies with a laugh, using her toe to touch Riley’s leg under the water. “You helped me big time. God.” She bites her lip and gives Riley a look. “You helped me so much that I thought I pulled something. And I feel pregnant.” She lets out a little growling sound. “You have no idea.”
