“Hi,” Jess says excitedly, stepping aside to let Mary and Carla into the house. Both are carrying wine bottles.

“Oh my god. Look how they’ve massacred my girl,” Carla says when she sees Stef, who wears a dress. It’s a rare sight. Stef flips her off.

“I lost a bet,” she mutters.

“Doesn’t she look great?” Jess says from the kitchen.

“She always does. Hi, Stef.” Mary takes Stef’s hands and kisses her cheek. “How’s business?”

“About the same.”

Mary’s the one who suggested that they all hang out. There’s no agenda or anything, but there’s also no shortage of stuff to talk about. Wine flows like water. Jess sits in Stef’s lap in an armchair while Mary and Carla share the sofa. Even though it’s warm outside, they’ve turned on the fake fireplace.

Inevitably, the topic lands on Ellen.

“She’s been quiet since the soccer thing,” Carla notes.

“She wanted to go for the state house next, right? She was going to skip mayor because she needs the mayor’s help. Their little mutual aid agreement,” Jess says.

Mary raises a hand. “Sorry, guys. Bathroom.” She stands up and leaves the living room.

“But if she was going for that, we’d have seen something by now. Everyone else has already declared their campaigns,” Carla says.

“Maybe there’s a new grift. And the separation’s official now, right? Maybe she’s just taking a year off. That can be hard,” Jess suggests.

“Shut up,” Carla says, looking around. “Let’s not talk about that around Mary.”

“Oh. Right. Sorry,” Jess says. “What’s wrong, baby?”

“Nothing. It’s just… that bathroom schtick.” Stef lowers her voice. “Didn’t you say she was suspicious?”

“Yeah.” Jess chews her lip. “Where’d that go? Why isn’t she being weird anymore?”

Adella lies naked on her bed, jerking it at full speed, holding her phone. She uses her thumb to swipe through some of the spicier photos that were exchanged because Jess has the physical scrapbook at the moment.

On the call, she can hear Riley taking care of herself a little more discreetly. Riley doesn’t keep pictures on her phone, which means that Adella has to tell her what she’s looking at, except Adella has gotten past the point of no return and isn’t doing any talking. Her photo reel has landed on a picture that she took while fucking Riley from behind while she was face-deep in Jess. In the picture, Riley’s back sparkles with cum.

“Are you close?” Riley asks breathlessly.

Adella’s reply is a long sigh. She moves the phone out of the way and arches her back, closing her eyes to feel her hot load spilling onto her stomach.

Jess hurries down the hallway, pushing the door open.

Mary looks up, startled.

“The bathroom’s that way,” Jess says, pointing.

“Sorry,” Mary replies. She looks down at the book. “I think Riley has a book like this.”

Jess hurries over and grabs her hand. “Come on. Stef has…”

Mary stares at her. Jess blushes.

“Has what?” Mary asks.

“A present for you. Come on.”
