I'm unsure, truthfully. I want to. There's lots I want to explore, and I'd like to be able to use this site as intended, but I also want to write other things and I want to work on polishing this story too. One plan I had with those alternate branches was to reveal that Jake has been cheating on her this whole time, but I found that trying to do that was keeping me from writing anything at all. So, I set them aside and focused on the task at hand. I imagine that by going through and polishing the prime storyline, I'll get the inspiration to write some more branches, but we'll see. Therefore, my official answer is: I want to, but I'm not going to pressure myself to do so, so don't hold your breath for them.

Genuine question first, before I answer, and please assume there is no judgement or anything here: If she had broken up with Jake first and then jumped Andy's bones, would that have redeemed this story for you? I feel that most of the story prior to the yoga scene was still emotional cheating, and I'm just wondering how you felt about that.

I'm glad you liked what you read, and I'm sorry the cheating was a squick for you. Tbh, I haven't written anything else with cheating, and I don't have anything else planned. That said, I don't have anything else longform planned at the moment. And then I don't plan on writing hypno, but I will always continue writing mind control. (I like to keep hypnosis rooted to my real-life subjects. I think I have too much imposter syndrome to release stories with it.)

My usual shtick is oblivious subject with reality alteration, and I tend to write shorter <10k words stories. You can find some of them on mcstories under "checker" and I have a few more in the works to post there soonish. To switch things up, my main goals with this story were: slow burn, cheating (because there has been another author whom I've really been enjoying and they are all about the infidelity), no reality manipulation, very little body modification. I hit all those points (although, I actually feel like I could have done more with the infidelity angle, but whatever), and the slow burn was the most compelling part of writing it. So I'm definitely interested in writing more slow burn stuff, but I also felt that the infidelity angle helped slow it down. I'll have to come up with a way to maintain tension without it.

Incidentally, I do have another slow burn story on here: "Retail Magic", check out the "Bimbocity" plotline. It's not hypno, but it is slow burn, but it's also unfinished and indefinitely on hiatus because I hit a narrative roadblock that I couldn't overcome. I'd like to finish that one out at some point, but we'll see if that happens.
