ALICE Ch 304

The setting sun paints Kylie’s body in warm hues. She and Aria share a towel on the beach, which is no longer crowded because it’s getting late. Plenty of people are around, but Kylie is oblivious. This has been the quietest date of her life, and probably the best. Aria seems content to stare at her in her blue bikini. They must look so strange, lying on their sides, gazing at each other.

“I was worried that you would wait,” Kylie says.

Aria looks curious. “Oh? You were not worried that I would be upset?”

“I knew you wouldn’t be so upset that you wouldn’t want to meet.”

“So confident,” Aria says, eyes sparkling. Of course Kylie is confident; Aria looks at her the way that Alice used to look at her. Kylie isn’t naïve. It’s not so different from how a dog looks at a cheeseburger. “You were saying?”

“I was worried that you would wait until after the race. I know you and Bianca are busiest right now.”

“Some things are more important than business.” Aria smiles. “You should be confident.”

Kylie isn’t sure about being confident, but she does want to have some self-respect. It hasn’t been easy trying to get it back since her wedding fell apart, and Alice got serious about Faye.

Aria might be some kind of expert on confidence.

“I was afraid that I would have to spend the whole week thinking about you,” Kylie admits. “That it would just drag on.”

“I will not wait until Sunday to see you.”

Kylie laughs. “Good.”

“I will not even wait until we are back at the hotel.”

Kylie blushes. “Oh.”

They never got in the water, but that doesn’t stop Aria from pulling Kylie into a shower stall. Under the spray, Aria pulls Kylie close and looks into her eyes. Pressed together and enfolded by the Italian woman’s arms, Kylie feels a strange intimacy that she’s not used to. Aria’s eyes are dark but intent. Her fingertips are tender as they caress Kylie’s body, plucking at her bikini. Kylie is weak and ready to melt before Aria even kisses her, and when she does, it makes her wetter than the shower does.

Confidence no longer comes into it. It happens suddenly, but Kylie is beyond reason. Aria has been looking at her like she’s a tasty snack, and now Kylie wants nothing more than to be that snack. She wants it so badly, and she’s completely sober. Sobriety means inhibitions, but her lust is trying to fight those off.

Kylie’s heart pounds, her neck stings where Aria has kissed her, and her body is on fire. These stalls are only the vaguest approximation of private, but she doesn’t care. Aria’s erection is out in the open; her bikini bottoms can’t contain it.
