A word from the Author

Hi, everyone. You might have noticed the very big, three year gap between when most of this story was written, and the last few chapters.

I wrote most of this in a mad flurry three years ago, when I was blessed with an inordinate amount of free time. It didn't last long, because the demands on my time returned. Ones that were financially necessary, and this didn't pay the bills. Every once in a while, people would find this story and beg for me to continue. And the thing is: I wanted to. I had plans for these characters, and this story has (at least) eight different endings that I conceptualized. (Probably more, once it gets there.)

In the three years since I've actually become a much better writer, and I hope that the past few chapters, (the entire recent Yasmin/Alice branch) prove what I've become capable of. Not just in the writing quality of the story, but also in the way that player choice is taken into consideration.

But the truth is: I can't keep writing this story as-is, without your support. If you turn off game mode and look at just those past few chapters, and the intricate branching choices and player-scoring and insane moon-logic planning that went into them, not to mention the pure time spent writing, you'll see what I mean.
