A woman in red

You and Pammy turn around in surprise, not realizing that you weren't alone. Standing about 5 feet away in the dark is a slender figure wearing a long red trench coat and a matching fedora. The voice you had heard was female, and for a second, you wonder if Carmen Sandiego, from the popular kids show, had somehow come to life. Pammy must have had the same thought, because she bluntly blurts out, "Who the fuck are you? A Carmen Sandiego cosplayer?"

The woman chuckles, as if she's used to hearing such outbursts about the way she dresses. "I'm from the BOA," she responds dryly.

"Wait, you're from the Bureau too? How many people did they send to investigate a minor-" Pammy stops herself mid-sentence, wary of admitting to any wrongdoing, as she looks at you and the woman in red, whose face you can't make out in the relative darkness.

"The BOA?" you ask.

"The Bureau of Oddities and Abnormalities," Pammy responds as she takes a step away from you and the woman in red, forming an invisible triangle between you 3. "You're not really with the Bureau, are you?"

The woman in red crosses her arms and snorts in derision. "Impersonating a BOA agent? That's a major offense. Although, using magic to cause harm onto those without magic is only slightly less egregious. Pammy Waters, and you, whatever your name is, you 2 are to come with me."

Pammy is quick to protest. "I have nothing to do with him. He tricked me! As for the other thing, it was an accident. Please, my aunt is Pam Waters. She used to work for the Bureau and-"

"Oh I know about your aunt. That's the reason why I'm allowing you to come on your own free will. As for you," the woman in red turns her attention to you as she uncrosses her arms and starts to reach into a pocket in her coat, "I'll take you in by any means necessary if you resist..."

As you consider what to do, you raise your hands in surrender to buy some time.
