What's next?
A wolfman steps out from the forest to face you.
A beat passes before you get any kind of response. With your senses set to maximum gain, you stare wide-eyed at the trees, searching for the slightest trace of anything abnormal. There's silence for moments, until you pick up the slightest note of a sound. An instant of audio enhancement later and you've identified it as the noise of a stealthy footstep from a roughly hundred and fifty kilo creature two meters behind you. Without thinking you jump forwards, turning in the motion to face behind you and land in a stance prepared to receive a charge. You might not have effective use of your arms, but even naked and unequipped, you're not exactly vulnerable.
The creature sneaking up behind you is an unwelcome sight. Roughly humanoid in form and around your height, but that's where your similarities end. He's covered from head to toe in brown fur, his hands and feet end in wicked claws, and his face is closer to that of a wolf than a man, with a long fanged snout and raised canine ears.
You find it hard to keep a look of disgust off your face and can't help but comment while waiting for him to make the first counterable move.
"Lot of ugly fuckers in the zone, huh?"
It's impossible to read his reaction. He takes a step towards you, then begins to speak. His words are malformed and distorted by his inhuman mouth, but still reasonably understandable, like he's had a lot of practice speaking english.
"You are vulnerable, girl. You should be quiet."
You narrow your eyes at him and nod as sarcastically as you can.
"Yeah I'm just a vulnerable girl, try something, you'll see how true that is."
He takes another step towards you. You tense, prepared to strike.
"We can trade, or we can fight. You will not win, as others like me will come when I call."
If that's true, it's hard to argue with. Fighting two-on-one is hard enough when you know the capabilities of your opponent and have full use of your body. You wouldn't want to try your luck against more than one of these things in your current state.
You take another step backwards, making eye contact with a sidelong stare. There's a question you want to ask, even though you expect you already know the answer.
"Trade? What the fuck would you even want?"
There's a sound that emits from his throat, like a twisted replica of laughter. It makes you wince.
"You need shelter, food, water, and somebody to help with your bonds. I have all of those. In return, I want you to myself. If we fight, the whole clan will have you, many times."
The look of disgust crosses your face again, and you almost lash out at him instinctively. Logic forces you to stop and consider his offer for a moment before making a response.
Do you take the deal, or not?
