Anthropomorphic animals exist in this version of The Earth. They are rare but not too rare for it unlikely to meet one occasionally. Anthropomorphic animals had a greater size range than humans. From 3 foot tall mice (fully grown) to 10-foot elephants. The humanoid body did not support such a long neck nor were they need to fight for mates or reach high branches so Anthro giraffes where shorter than Anthro elephants. They were just as susceptible to COVID 19 as any human and followed the same laws and guidelines. A group of wolves lived in the same town as Rosie.

A large Anthropomorphic wolf, called Taron, was out for his one Jog a day for exercise. As a wolf, he could cover quite a distance in one jog but limited himself to laps of the local wood to avoid coming into contact with too many people or spreading the disease around through contact. He did not have it as far as he knew but maybe asymptomatic or pick up droplets and spread them by contact. So he was keeping his jog’s short and his distance from people wide.
