A wolf man

Its grey fur, amber eyes and presence gave it away. Initially you thought it was a werewolf but the lack of a full moon at night proves otherwise. But you’d heard of this race before. Or rather races.

The beast-men are a hybrid of humans and animals. They walk like humans, but have completely animal bodies. They can talk like humans but most never learn how. The wolf men comprise only one race of the various beast-men tribes.

One particularly cruel master of yours threatened to sell you to the lion-men, who often ate humans. You angle your spear forwards and attack him.

The wolf-man batted aside the weapon with ease and grabs you by the throat. He rips off your vest and growls.
