A washing machine that had finished cleaning clothes yet no one was here.

Needing to be sure, Ren opens the washing machine to check for anything belonging to Futaba. He didn’t have to rummage through the pile of clothes (much to his relief) as he has a familiar white shirt with asterisks in his sight upon opening the washer. At the same time, hearing the opening of one of the machines was enough to to finally break Futaba’s prolonged silence.

Hearing a small familiar squeak, Ren almost immediately heads to the source of said squeak. “Oh thank god I found you, Sojiro, Mona, and I have been worried sick for you, anyway where have you been all this ti-” Before finishing his sentence, Ren catches sight of a naked trembling Futaba in a fetal position. Both of their cheeks turned red, followed by Ren turning around to face the opposite direction from her. Morgana pokes his head out asking “What’s go-” only to see Futaba and and immediately returns to the bag. “Hi R-Ren, n-nice whether t-t-today isn’t it.” Futaba says in a unsuccessful attempt to make the current situation less awkward. Ren sighs and says “I’m not even going to ask what led to your predicament, but considering your able to make jokes I take it that you’re okay, lack of clothing notwithstanding of course.”while beginning to remove his school blazer. “Aside from being butt naked outside in Yongen, m-more or less” she responds followed by Ren tossing her his school blazer for her to cover up with. For once being grateful for her short stature, as the blazer is able to cover her where needed. Before giving Ren the all clear for him to turn around and face her.

She proceeds to give Ren a hug (to his shock) and with a slight giggle “Look at you saving me a second time, thanks by the way.” Blushing Ren responds by stating “Futaba that’s sweet and all but maybe it’s better to save the hug when your wearing more than a Shujin blazer.” Remembering her situation, Futaba proceeds to grab some of the now cleaned and dried clothes to wear while Ren in turn goes near the entrance of the Laundromat to prevent any potential witnesses while facing away from Futaba. Now dressed and relieved the ordeal is over, Ren helps Futaba carry her laundry back to the Sakura residence, with Futaba explaining the whole ordeal to Ren and Morgana (and later Sojiro, much to all three’s bafflement).

“H-hey Ren, Mona? I think it’s probably best we don’t bring this up to anyone else and pretend this never happened.” “Probably for the best” says Ren, followed by Morgana saying “Agreed I’m just gonna sleep to forget this.” Having other plans for the evening Ren pats Futaba on the head, before departing with Morgana.

“I can’t believe I’m saying this, but can we please move on from this now and get back to talking about what happened with Okumura!” Ren says frustratedly.
