A wager

You sigh a little as you ready your answer.

"Look, Catherine. I know that you say you love me, but there's things about me that you don't actually know. Not even dad knows. Truthfully, there are certain parts of my life that have changed in the last few days. In fact, there's some things about my sex life that you don't know."

"If this is about your fetish for latex, then you don't have to worry about it. I'm completely fine with it and I'm sure that I'll learn to love it if you want to share it with me."

"*sigh* It's actually about that. I recently joined a special club for lesbians and they have special rules and events that I'm now part of. Now I'm sure that you're fine with the fact that it's for lesbian, but it's the events and my place in them, plus some new things of mine, that I'm not so sure about."

"How can you say that? Maybe I'll accept this new part of your life. I'm positive that whatever it is, I'll love this new part of you as much as what I already love."

You look at Catherine with one of your eyebrows raised.

"Wanna bet?"

From the look on her face, and her frantic nodding, it seems that you're lack of rejecting her has brought some glimmers of hope in her eyes. It almost made you break down and want to just say yes to her, but you needed to make sure that she wouldn't run away once she saw this new part of your life. Plus, you still needed to talk to Mistress Kara about your new property at the club anyways.

"Fine. I'll make a bet with you. Actually-" You hold up two fingers."-I'll make two bets with you, both with different rules and win/lose conditions."

"Okay. What's the first one?"

You lower one of the fingers.

"The first wager is about you accepting this new part of my life. I don't mean understanding. I mean truly accepting it. This new part of my life is really important to me and involves some responsibilities that I can't ignore. Plus, mom and dad can't know about it until I say so. You might say that mom's more accepting now, but I doubt that even dad could handle the news right now."

"Sounds fair. It is your personal life. So if the rules of this wager are me accepting becoming part of this new world with you, what are the win/lose conditions?"

"The win condition is simple. If you do accept this new life of mine, I'll accept your love for me and start a relationship with you, depending on the parameters we set together later on."

After you say that, Catherine's face completely lights up with joy and excitement while also starting to bounce on the bed. You give her a stern look to get her to settle down and raise your finger up again.

"However, if you can't accept it, then you agree to two things. The first one is that you will not enroll in my school and actual look at other colleges that are most definitely better than this one. And the second one is that you will go and see a therapist. I'm serious about this. If you can't accept the whole me, then you need to see a professional about fixing your fixation on me and be able to move on with your life and find someone who can love the real you and vice versa. Deal?"

Catherine looks down at the floor and sighs.

"Fine. Deal. Can't say that I don't understand your lose conditions. Don't like them, but can't argue with your logic."

"Glad to hear."

Catherine leans forward a bit and looks at you with anticipation.

"And the second wager? What is it?"

You shake your head and wag your finger.

"Can't tell you yet. Whether or not the second wager happens depends on you winning the first one. Like I told you, the two wagers have different rules and conditions and the second one is not for the faint of heart."

Catherine sags back onto your bed and pouts like a little puppy. You have to use all your willpower not to give in. Catherine's cute puppy dog pouts have always been a weakness of yours.

"I mean it. I'm not telling you it unless you win the first wager."

Catherine sighs and then shrugs before she looks behind her and then looks you in the eyes with a bit of fear in her own eyes.

"Sooooo, what's going to happen with our sleeping arrangements now? I'm not sure if you still want to sleep next to me after what I did."

You smile at her gently and pull her in for a hug. She tenses for a moment with shock before returning the hug.

"Catherine. No matter what happens, you'll always be my little sister. I'll always love you. Just promise me not you won't pull a stunt like this again with me, and we can go back to sleep like we were."

You feel Catherine's body fully untense, after what you said, and Catherine nodding on your shoulder.

"I promise."

"Good. Now go straight to sleep. I'm just going to get some pj's on to help you resist the temptation and then come back to bed."

You and Catherine let go and you go over to your dresser to put on your rarely used sleepwear, a tank top, a pair of gym shorts, and some panties. Once you get them on, you see Catherine laying on the bed, this time facing you.

"Can I be the big spoon this time? I promise no funny stuff."

You chuckle and nod. You then get into bed and let Catherine wrap her arms around you. As you drift back to sleep, you feel her nuzzle your back.

"Thank you for not leaving me."

Hopefully, you'll get some proper sleep this time with no unexpected surprises.
