Chapter 136 by doppledon doppledon

What's next?

A visit with Sean.

For the next couple hours Diana and Juliet allow you and the girls to ask questions about their species and culture. You were happy to find that they were excited to answer the questions you all had. Among other things you learned that they shed their skin about once a year. They do not lay eggs which Diana found to be a rather humorous question. Their god is Sobek, which from Sobek's description you were betting he was one of the Egyptian gods from your old world. Just one more link between the two worlds.

You also learned that, despite talking with a priestess, religion played a relatively minor role in their day to day life. They did worship Sobek, but it sounded pretty casual. Diana's status of a priestess seemed more like just a job to you as she described it. She was a teacher and caregiver to Juliet for the most part. As Diana explained it her title of priestess was more traditional than practical. Though she did hint that Sobek played a direct role in Grimlok somehow that she didn't care to elaborate on. You also learned that they practice a caste system, though theirs has been perverted to put their military on top. Feeling confident on setting a solid foundation of trust between all of you with Diana and Juliet, you excused yourself to let the girls talk amongst themselves so you could talk with someone you really didn't care to talk with. Sean.

It had been a while since your last visit with him. According to Dawn he has been a model prisoner. He seems polite with her, he has been reading books for his entertainment, he was eating well, and he'd been keeping good care of himself. You really weren't sure how Sean would behave, and it is a little surprising to learn that he's in general behaving himself. It makes you even feel a little hopeful about him. You knock on the door to Sean's room, and enter in when you hear him tell you to come in. Sean is propped up on some pillows with a book in his lap, and his eyes squint slightly with hatred. Once again you see Sean look around the room, presumably trying to see if he can find a weapon of some sort, and just like before he resigns himself to the reality he's in.

"Hello Sean. I was wanting to check in with you and talk for a bit. Keeping in mind the situation you are in, is there anything we can get you to make you more comfortable" you ask.

"My situation huh. You mean being your prisoner" Sean sneers.

"If our roles were reversed would you not have me as your prisoner" you ask.

"I would have killed you by now" Sean states simply.

"Hmmm...I wouldn't tell you to be grateful for it, but there should be a little solace in the fact that I don't want to kill you or harm you" you reply.

"Why not? Am I not a threat to you? I may not have the ability to do anything right now, but eventually I might" Sean states.

"That is true. You are a threat currently. I won't deny that, but I really don't believe we need to be enemies" you tell him.

"You took my arm" Sean says angrily.

"An arm with a hand on it, that was holding a knife, which was about to be shoved into my kidney. Copper took your arm to protect me. I'd also like to remind you that I've provided you with a new arm" you smirk. Sean looks down at his golden hand, and stares at it as he open and closes it slowly.

"The truth of the matter is that while you are a threat, and I will not forget how you treated Yvette. I do respect certain aspects of you" you tell him.

"Flattery now. That's your plan to get me to spill everything I know to you" Sean says dismissively.

"Call it flattery if you want, but you are a survivor Sean. I don't agree with your morals or the things you've done, but I can respect that you are still alive" you reply.

"My morals and the things I've done are what has kept me alive. If you don't agree with those things then you can't respect my survival" Sean says looking away from you.

"Morals can change, and the things you have done can be atoned for" you calmly state.

"You don't know the things I've done John...there is no atonement" Sean states sounding resigned to whatever fate awaits him.

"That doesn't mean you can't try" you reply.

"What atonement is there for murdering people John? Hmmm? **** then? What atonement cancels that out" he asks angrily. You let out a sigh to calm yourself down.

"I won't say the things you've done are something I'm ok with, and quite frankly I don't want to know what all you've done. If I thought I could I would throw you out into the wilderness. However, you know too much. You know generally where we are. You know who our allies are. You know what weapons we have. You know our technological advantages. I'm sure there are other things I'm not thinking of right now that you know as well. I'm not going to kill you, but I also can't let you leave. Because I don't want to keep you as a prisoner for the rest of your life that leaves me with one option, and that is to make you an ally" you reply. Sean looks at you in disbelief for a moment.

"You can't be serious" Sean asks rhetorically.

"Indeed I am. Look...atonement was probably the wrong word to use. You can't fix a **** by giving the children of the person you murdered a puppy or whatever, and I'm not asking you to do that sort of thing. What I'm asking you for is to help me. Help me create a world so that people can get the help and support they need. So that they aren't alone in the world anymore. So that their future isn't stolen from them. That is who we want to help. The victims of this world" you state. Sean looks at you like you grew a second head.

"That's impossible. There are too many people out there like me" he finally replies.

"Then we will become many as well" you state simply.

"I'm sure it'll be that easy" Sean says rolling his eyes.

"I didn't say it will be easy, but every person we rescue helps. Every ally we gain helps. You saw the Amazons that we fought with against your troops. That wasn't even close to the number of warriors they have. All I'm asking is for you to give it some thought, and make a decision. I suspect you feel a certain way about your life's choices. You don't have to answer me now, but do you want to continue feeling as you do about your life, or do you want to be able to look back and feel proud about some of it? I'm offering you the chance to help accomplish something great. Something, if successful, will go down in the history of this continent as the beginning of a golden age. You can either be a part of that, or you can watch it happen. The choice is yours. I'll leave you to your thoughts now" you tell him and stand up to leave. You touch the wall and the door slides open.

"John" you hear Sean call out to you. You turn to face him.

"Why? Why would you risk everything you have to help people you've never met? Why risk...helping me" he asks fiddling with the book in his lap instead of looking at you.

"Because I believe I have the capability to help them...to help you...and no one else is doing it. Let us know if you need anything" you reply shutting the door behind you. You let out a deep sigh as you lean back against the wall. Dawn materializes in front of you and snuggles her way into your arms.

"Can he hear us right now" you ask her.

"Not unless you want him to" she replies.

"Am I being stupid with this? With him? Should I just throw him out into the wilderness with nothing, or just...execute him" you ask. You cringe a little at the suggestion of killing him.

"That depends on if you think he can change or not" Dawn replies.

"I feel like he can. I wasn't lying about him being a survivor. He's had to change many times I'm sure" you tell her.

"Then continue to give him the opportunity to change again" Dawn replies. You squeeze Dawn tighter enjoying the feel of her body pressed against yours.

"Was there anything of note to you during that conversation" you ask.

"Like what" she asks back.

"I don't know. Heartrate being high or low, pupils dilated, nervous twitches, anything like that" you ask.

"His heartrate spiked when you entered as well as his pupils dilating. I believe he wanted to harm you if he could, but very quickly both returned to his baseline. From his tone and mannerisms I would say he is starting to accept you wish to help him, but as far as what he will end up deciding to do. I do not think even he knows at this time" Dawn replies.

"Do you talk with him much" you ask Dawn.

"Minimally. Conversations are to the point between us" she replies.

"Maybe talk with him occasionally. To give him a better sense of us" you tell her.

"I will try" Dawn replies.

"Thanks" you tell her. You feel her hand start to trail down your stomach making you smirk. You feel her hand slowly enter your pants until her fingers gently caress your hardening cock. Your cock pushes straight out as if to push through your pants to get to Dawn. She pulls you off the wall into the middle of the hallway and starts pulling you along until you're about to go around the corner of the hallway.

"Sorry, not sorry" Dawn states looking up at you with a mischievous twinkle in her eye. You look down at her confused by her non-apology. She gives you a wink and then fades away leaving you standing there with a huge tent in your pants. You try to figure out what just happened when Diana walks around the corner. She startles as she realizes you are standing right in front of her, and stops in her tracks. Your eyes widen, and almost in **** slow motion you watch her eyes trail down your body. Her eyes widen when she sees the large tent in your pants, but she doesn't look away, and instead stares for what feels like an eternity.

"Oh...my...Sobek" Diana mutters still fixated.

"I'm so sorry" you apologize and reach into your pants to readjust yourself "it just kind of happens sometimes" you say a little quieter.

"Huh?...What did you say" Diana asks finally dragging her eyes up to meet yours. You clear your throat.

"I just said it...uh...just kind of does that sometimes" you reply feeling your ears and cheeks getting hot with blush.

"Oh...ok...yah...um...I'm going to...um...I'll be in my room if you need me for anything" she replies. She quickly turns around and speeds around the corner. Just as quickly her head pokes back around the corner.

"Please knock first if you do need me for something" she states. Her eyes trail down once more, and then she quickly disappears around the corner again. You stand there a moment longer. Partly to see if she's going to appear again, and partly from the shock of what just happened. You feel a sudden presence behind you. Turning your head to look over your shoulder you see Dawn grinning up at you.

"Is something wrong" she asks in mock innocence. Instead of answering you quickly turn and wrap your hands around Dawn who squeals and laughs in response. You lift her up and heft her over your shoulder, and give her ass a nice spank as you make your way to your room.

"Someone needs a punishment" you tell her as she giggles and laughs as you haul her around.

What sort of punishment do you have in mind?
