Chapter 29 by OathkeeperPath OathkeeperPath

What happens with Lizzy?

A turn of events that I don't think any of them were ready for.

Confrontation and Revelation- Rough Draft

Jeremy and Nate decided it was time to confront Lissy about her attempts to disrupt their relationship. They knew she was hurting, but her actions were causing more harm than good. As they approached her, they found her just as she was about to abandon her current scheme.

"Lissy, we need to talk," Jeremy began, his voice firm but gentle. "We know what you've been doing, trying to come between us."

Lissy looked surprised but didn't deny it. She sighed, her eyes filling with tears. "I don't understand how you two can be so good together," she choked out. "Why couldn't you be that for me when it was us?"

Jeremy was taken aback by her outburst but remained calm. "Lissy, I never wanted things to end between us the way they did. You were the one who broke things off with me."

Anger flashed across Lissy's face. "You were going to leave me so you could 'be better'! Better than what? Us?! I just beat you to the punch. I couldn't be the one dumped on top of everything else!"

"No, Lissy," Jeremy replied softly. "I wanted to be better for us. Not better than us."

Their words seemed to cut deep, and Lissy's expression shifted from anger to anguish. "But I thought I wasn't enough for you, that you wanted something more, something I couldn't give you."

Jeremy shook his head. "You were enough, Lissy. I just wanted to be the best version of myself for you, for us. I didn't want to lose you."

Tears streamed down Lissy's face as she processed his words. "You know, this should have been me with you," she said, gesturing to Jeremy's Jasmine persona. "I noticed this side of you, didn't all the things left in that box you accidentally got tip you off? I was going to be your Dom. Look at what I lost when I needed to beat you to the punch when I thought you were leaving. God, I'm so stupid."

Nate, who had been silent up until this point, spoke up. "Lissy, you're not stupid. It's clear that both of you were hurting and made decisions out of fear. But we can't change the past. We can only learn from it and move forward."

Jeremy and Lissy were both crying now, and Nate couldn't stand to see them in pain. He stepped forward and brought them both into a hug. "It's okay. We can work through this together," he said softly.

That's when Nate came up with his idea to let Lissy work out her plan to Dom Jeremy/Jasmine while he supervised, as long as Jeremy was okay with it. He explained his reasoning: "Both of you have unresolved feelings and a connection that was never fully explored. Maybe by giving you two a chance to work through those feelings, we can find a way to heal and grow as individuals and as a group."

Jeremy hesitated for a moment but then nodded his agreement. Nate believed that this unconventional solution might be the key to healing all of their wounds and helping them find a path forward, together. "I trust you, Nate," Jeremy said quietly. "If you think this can help us all, then I'm willing to try."

After their confrontation with Lissy, Jeremy and Nate found themselves in a complicated situation. They had managed to overcome their own struggles and were growing stronger together, but Lissy's pain was now evident. Her outburst had revealed the depth of her feelings and the regret she harbored for ending her relationship with Jeremy.

Lissy was taken aback by the offer. She had expected anger and resentment from Nate and Jeremy, but instead, they were offering her a chance to work through her own feelings and regrets. Hesitantly, she accepted their offer. They decide there is no time like the present and that they might lose their nerve if they wait. So they head back to the Apartment as soon as the tears dry up enough to navigate safely. They send Lizzy to get what ever she would need as an over night bag and directions to meet them back at their place.

How does that go?
