A true hearth in stone

Blair and Caesar walked over to Fuxipo. After a brief conversation, they started their trek toward Blair's Discarded Supplies at the center of this massive illusion barrier. Although nothing of note happened along their way, there was something rather odd awaiting them near the greenhouse. Fuxipo and her men didn't pay it much mind as they ran over to the Multi-Forge. "Oo, this is a real beauty! I can't wait to start playing with this. Hey boys, hand me that hammer and those tongs. I want to get started!" There was a cheer from her men as they started to get to work.

Blair and Caesar's attention was focused on the new object near the greenhouse. To her surprise, it was a large wooden chest. 'A chest?' She looked around carefully then back at the chest. 'I don't remember anything similar to this in any of the illusion barriers.' She gently scratched her chin. Before she could stop him, Caesar quickly ran over to the chest, sniffing it all over. She let out a soft breath. "Caesar. Come here. You need to be more careful. What if that had been a mimic or something?" He started to whimper as he walked back over to her side. As he did, she cast Observe on the chest.

Blair gently rubbed the top of Caesar's head. 'Really?' She glanced up toward the sky then back to the chest. 'I wonder what this is all about.' She kissed the top of Caesar's head before walking over to the chest. "I checked it out. It's a gift box from Gaia." She ran a hand along the lid while looking it over. "Hmm, I wonder if it's anything good. Well, I guess I'm about to find out." She said while opening the lid. When she did, two notifications appeared in the center of her view.

Blair smiled upon reading about the furnished house, but was confused upon reading the name, Ukea. 'Who or what is a Ukea?' Her question was soon answered when she moved the notifications out of the way and saw a dragonkin of some sort laying where the chest had once been. All she could see were two black scaled wings wrapped around someone human size. To confirm her suspicions, she cast Observe on the creature.

Caesar barked at Ukea as her wings began to slowly fold behind her back, revealing her elegant form clad in a simple midnight black thigh high dress and black thigh-high high-heel boots. Blair's eyes ran down along Ukea's form, starting at the top with two black smooth horns protruding from the top of her forehead near the temples, arching backwards at a 125 degree angle. This is when Ukea turned onto her left ass cheek, allowing Blair to see her face. She had a cute round face, round eyebrows, emerald green dragon eyes, full pouty red lips, a small button nose, and dimpled cheeks. This was all accented nicely by her long raven black hair which descends down to the middle of her back.

Ukea pale white skin was an interesting contrast to her pitch black dragon scales which covered her wings, tail, lower legs and feet, and forearms and hands. She glared at Caesar. "I'm up! Stop barking at me!" She growled at him, causing him to bare his teeth. Blair gently rubbed the top of his head. "It's okay Caesar. I don't think she's a threat." Ukea tilted her head slightly, exposing her pointy right ear. "Where am I, human?" Blair started to chuckle. "That's cute, Ukea. You are at my home base."

Blair noticed a flashing notification asking her to select a location for her new house. "Speaking of which..." She used a mental command to place it fifty yards in front of the Reservoir Generator and Collector, giving it the perfect view of all of her current buildings within the area. A small thud was heard as the new light brown bricked building with a gray roof materialized. It was rather nice with three bedrooms, two baths, a living room, dining area, kitchen, and a utility room. The building itself was forty-nine feet long, thirty-one feet wide, and fifteen feet tall (including the roof).

Ukea's eyes widened. "Holy shit!" Her score jumped up to 16. "Where did that come from!?" Blair playfully smirked. "It was a gift from my benefactor. I am not sure what she gets out of it, but Gaia seems to enjoy giving me things from time to time." Ukea sat up, adjusting her positions so she was sitting on her knees as she looked over the building. "I, it's no castle, but it's not bad." She said while looking off to the side. Her score ticked up to 17. Blair looked at the building as Caesar ran over to it and started to sniff near the front porch. "If it's not up to your standards. I suppose you could sleep out here."

A look of hatred over took Ukea's expression as she glared at Blair. Her score dropped to 0. However, after a moment her mouth slightly opened as if she saw something she didn't expect to see. Her score skyrocketed to 19. She proceeded to look around the area. Her expression changing to that of disgust. "Me? Out here? With these, ugh! Goblins?" She said while pointing at Fuxipo and the others who were busy working at the forge, a blast of hot air enveloped one of the mages causing the rest of them to laugh at him. Blair smirked while nodding slightly. "Oh yeah. With all the male goblins anyway. I plan to let Fuxipo sleep in the house. Maybe even with me if she's a good girl." She waved to Fuxipo who grinned while waving in return. Fuxipo's score ticked up to 62.

Blair glanced in Ukea's direction. "After I get some rest, I plan to train myself before assaulting Zane and his men." Ukea's tail tip gently tapped the ground. "Zane? Who is that?" Blair proceeded to tell Ukea about Zane and his misdeeds. Ukea widely smiled, showing off her razor sharp teeth. Her score ticked up to 23. "Can I join in on the fun?" Blair gently tapped her lips with her left hand's pointer finger. "That depends on you. What will I get in return?" Ukea looked down then over to Fuxipo and her men. "My unwavering loyalty, Blair. At least, until the job is done."

Blair's eyes ran along Ukea's form as a playful smile crept upon her lips. Accepting this Drakyn, as is, would be fun. However, testing Ukea's loyalty would be even more so. Should she test that loyalty right away by playing with her body? Or should she give Ukea a task to complete before accepting her?
