A ton of questions

The second she sat down Laine felt her knees go weak. Before her stood this massive, rock hard, gut wrenching... Stack of paperwork. Mac was NOT kidding, it was a miracle the desk hadn't collapsed. Dozens of forms on every issue imaginable occupied her mind as she worked furiously through each page. She was a machine! Or at least she would be, if all these people would stop interrupting her. It felt like every 5 minutes someone else had another simple question that they dragged out into a whole conversation. It was getting quite annoying, but she had been gone for quite a while so it was understandable in a way. As you may have guessed already, the young men who've been waiting patiently are all jumping at this opportunity. The problems began to mount however after the arm started acting up. It would occasionally get stuck in place, leaving a box half checked or a paper stuck in her hand. This really slowed her down and meant that often times her arms was simply locked at odd angles, pointing, reaching for something, etc. It was at one point when reaching for a paper on the desk that the arm froze for a moment, and then shot forward, catching the bottom of the massive stack. Like a wood block tower it fell, toppling towards poor Laine. Attempting a one armed catch was a poor decision as the stack came down and she went down with them as her high heels buckled. Buried beneath the pile of paperwork Laine was completely rattled, her left arm was pinned, and her right was refusing to budge, fortunately for her the pact of horny interns had formed a lightning fast rescue party to help get her out... Of the paper... (I bet)

Note: This is an unrealistic, comically large pile of paperwork. Just roll with it ;)
