A timeline of important events

A year before - Amara of Helios is taken by Har'Amaden and sold in Athenapolis.

Six months before - The coalition is taking shape with most of the major city-states committing to the cause.

Three months before - troops start moving and Athenapolis realizes that they could be in trouble.

Two months before - initial skirmishes in the air and on the land as the noose tightens around Athenapolis. This is followed by a prolonged (three of four week) battle for the skies in which the Riders of Athenapolis are driven back to within the walls of the city allowing the camps of the United Armies to be set up. Several prominent mercenary companies defect and the High Council agrees on the plan to let the city fall while they wait out the chaos in the Citadel.

One month before- the full siege is in effect, war machines start to bombard the wills of the city and the last few Rider battles are fought before even the skies above the city are conceded by Athenapolis. At this point there are few if any drakes left in the city other than a few that were injured but made it back to the roosts. Key mercenary companies are quietly moved back from the walls to defend the tower (and also to prevent them from defecting)

Six days before - The walls on the Eastern side of the city are breached and United Army forces start moving into the city on the far side of the river.

Four days before -Kalion arrives and arranges a three day cease fire. (During this time Salara slips into the city)

Day 0 - the main **** on the Athenapolis begins. (This is the start of Korban's, Caderos', Thadeus', Brennus' and Adonis' stories)
