A talk about Faith with Faith.

The return to the school is much quicker then it was to the first destination with Faith, although it could be said that the three stops after the meal might have brought the two of you closer to the school honestly you could not call it one way or the other. Faith does not seem upset with this turn of events, from the passenger seat it seems clear to you with the look on her face she half expected something might come up or she might need to return to drive Charlie home. And getting Charlie to watch the baby at all is a blessing on the whole, so you can understand why Faith has a huge smile on her face.

You can't help but wonder during the ride what your sister might want, it does dawn on you that you do in fact have to return home today. Your younger siblings might have a field day bothering you if you did not, thou in the end you don't know what your sister has to say that she has not said already. Then on the other hand maybe she has gathered up all your cousins and they all want to talk to you but you really don't know. You still end up kicking yourself in your ass as you keep thinking of them as cousins and sister in this regard when you know damn well your not of any blood relation. And it seems the government does not care for any legal relation other then marriage at this point, so you really are going to have to sort this out with your entire family. Then again maybe this might be something the rest of your family had always been hoping for, a legitimate claim to you calling your uncle and aunt mother and father and so on. You just shrug and as you cast your head down as you think about it Faith catches a glimpse of your face.

She keeps her eyes on the road as she says " Don't worry about it John, from what Charlie had told me about your parents they understand all of this. Thou they seem to understand it and embrace it more then I would expect any other parent to."

You shrug as you listen and add " I was pretty much thinking that same thing, which is one more reason I was thinking and feeling so glum. Lets be honest for a second, my family expects me to watch after my cousins more or less yet I am not related to any of them in blood. Our government at this point is not taking notice of any relations other then marriage and blood relations. So we now understand better where I stand in the world, this is not so horrible as it is unexpected. On top of it, I have very large group of other females interested in me. And to top it all off, more that seem connected to me in some way that none of us can explain."

Faith smiles and just adds " I am not one to suggest this normally but maybe god or fate or a bit of faith has to be had in all of this. As Toshi told you every path or route sooner or later leads to more. It is clear as far as your sex life goes as of now. Because of me you are now in close relations with Kaylee and from Kaylee you are then close to or connected to Dr.Maxwell and her assistant. From me you are now also connected to that cute little hair stylist as well. So it is clear one way or another the paths your taking are connected to me as well as the others, the hair stylist also knows your sister. So maybe that is what your sister wants to talk about, there is really no telling you know?"

You look at Faith for a second and point out " My sister said some of her friends put my name on the forms at her suggestion when they could not think of anyone else. That leaves me to wonder if the college students took these forms all in an open area, or with others about as they tried to understand the real purpose of the form. But beyond that it makes me wonder if I should check the phone to check just how many of the college age girls added me."

Faith smirks and says " Don't worry about it, I am sure tomorrow your sister will get a chance to talk to her friends about their dreams and they should be able to tell her if they had any kind of response close to what many of the others had. At which point your sister can get Dr.Maxwell to remove any names that did not have said response from the phone."

You look at her with a bit of pained face as you consider this, and add " But that still does not address the feelings of fate or god and so as it relates to everything else."

Faith smiles a moment and then adds " Thou I can tell you that I for one might not be the one to talk to you about god, sure my family named me Faith and I understand and have been exposed to many religions but I don't hold a true Faith. I hold abstracts as I am sure you do, which does not really help on the whole. My family does not even understand why I prefer my middle name, I for one feel Payton sounds way to uppity so I always used my middle name."

You just shrug and then ask " So who do you suggest I talk to about this if not you? I mean I am pretty sure Charlie and Skye are Catholic. Thou I am not so sure they much care for it, which would leave me not to speak to them on religion, the same for Kaylee could also be said about her own. And I understand we all mostly have different feelings about are faith and religion as well. I know my family does not have a standing religion, we don't go to church or anything."

Faith nods to herself when she adds " Maybe I am the one to talk to about it, but at the same time you may wish to talk to the others even if you don't think it to be the most appealing subject to bring up. To understand all of us in the end it will require you understand our beliefs, I will not say that I don't disagree with how you view the others on how they might feel about it. But it does not mean you can ignore asking them about it either. I will add that my understanding comes from both what my family made sure to expose me to as I was growing up and my studies into social understandings and the likes. I understand the drive and the purpose and the relation of the beliefs as I am sure you might as well from your own understandings. But I for one don't believe in god, but I will say your take on the world responding to the events that take place as you try to decided to respond to it. Does merit some thought and general understanding to it, that is worth pondering."

You shrug to yourself as she says this and add " I get that, my avoidance is catching up along with tons of people interested in me for one reason or another. Some of them don't understand the connection well the ones who do have a hard time not expressing it. Thou it does leave me wondering why someone like Dr.Maxwell or your Hair stylist was interested in me, or had connected to that shared dream. So we are now up to four people who have experienced the dream the way Dr.Maxwell had. Now the real question is should I have sex with Dr.Maxwell so she can use the experience if there is another connection to compare the two dream styles or should I leave her untouched for a while in case there is another connection to see how her contact with me vs the others affects it. Or is it possible the four new ones will connect like all the other known people on the whole?"

Faith just lets out a grown as she thinks about it and then says " Don't worry about it to much John, I can tell you it was a very enjoyable dream all the same. I just wish I could better remember it." About this time the car pulls into the school parking lot. Faith smiles at you and adds " Go find your sister see what she has to say, I will drive Charlie and Beth back to Charlies place."

You just nod softly as she says this and the two of you walk in to the gym again.
