A suburban street...

As Peter's eyes adjusted to the light after the flash, he could make out that he was standing on sidewalk of a suburban street, which was thankfully empty of residents at the moment. Taking advantage of the solitude, he quickly ducked into a neaby group of bushes and he quickly pulled on his clothing.

He yanked on his shirt and grabbed his pants when he noticed that his boxers were missing. "Dammit," he muttered as he pulled on his pants and picked up his socks. "Oh well, it could have been much worse than a missing pair of undies, I guess."
