A strategy for a threesome with you, Ruby, and Vignesh

“How was the quiz, Ruby?” you ask, walking up to the sexy redhead. “Good for you as it was for me?”

“It went great!” she says brightly, giving Vignesh an affectionate look. “Got through it with no problem, all thanks to him.”

“Great to see the two of you getting along,” you smile. You put a hand on her shoulder. “That wasn’t an easy quiz to ace. You must be feeling lucky.”

Ruby shirks away from your hand, casting you a suspicious look. “Uh… yeah. But I think we did well.”

There’s a pause as you consider this lukewarm reaction from Ruby. Did you misjudge the situation?

“How about you, Alex?” Vignesh asks, picking up the slack. “You think you did well?”

“Yeah, yeah, I think I did pretty okay,” you say. “Hey, how about the three of us celebrate?”

“You have something in mind?” Ruby asks, not sounding very enthusiastic at all.

“Nothing specific,” you shrug, “but maybe we could head to my room and…”

But Ruby’s already shaking her head, stepping away.

“Sorry, don’t think I’ve got the time,” she says.

She looks over at Vignesh, as if considering something, but then she packs up her stuff and leaves the classroom, leaving you alone with your friend.

“Man, that really didn’t work?” Vignesh grumbles, still looking at the door through which Ruby left. “I thought we had something going on…”

“Yeah... what can I say, guess she’s harder to get than we thought,” you say. “It’s not always easy to make a girl fall for you.”

“I thought she liked me,” he insists. “I don’t know… maybe she wasn’t into you?”

“Could be,” you say doubtfully. “She probably just had a bad day or something.”

“Well, I guess that’s that then,” Vignesh says. “I’m out of this class now. Was nice getting to know you.”

“Yeah, likewise,” you say, as Vignesh takes off.
