A stern talking to.

The tallest of the guys, Warren, waved to Danny. The guy with the Danny name tag took his place standing in front of the door. There definitely wouldn't be any running out of there for Samantha, then, and it seemed that the security guards had been able to follow her train of thought. They were professionals, after all. They had probably dealt with situations like this before.

Josh leaned against the wall in the corner of the room with his back to the monitors. He seemed as though he was studying Samantha, like he could figure out her motives if he only kept his eye on her for a little while longer. Too bad for him, her motives really just boiled down to "I'm drunk, it's fun, and I want to get naked!"

Warren himself took a seat on the side of the desk so that his body faced where Samantha was sitting in her small, metal chair. He had a stern look on his face, almost like a school teacher disappointed with her performance on a test. Like his partners, he stayed quiet, watching her with interest as he seemed to be coming up with what he was supposed to be saying. Or maybe he's just ogling you, Samantha thought. She had to stop herself from giggling. That didn't seem like such a bad thing.

"Obviously, we're not the police," Warren said. "And you haven't committed any crime."

Samantha smiled. "Does that mean I'm free to go?" she said.

"Yes," Warren said. "In a second. You haven't committed a crime, and we're not the police, but what you did was dangerous. We can't have guests running around like chickens with their heads cut off on the deck of the ship. Especially not at night, and especially not while they're drunk. Someone could have gotten seriously hurt-- either you, or one of us, or one of the ship's staff members."

When he put it like that, Samantha couldn't help but see the logic to it. Maybe streaking on the deck hadn't been the smartest idea. She bowed her head. "Yeah, I get that," she said.

"Thanks," Warren said. "Well, we're not going to **** you to stay here. You can wear one of the robes we keep in the office back to your room, but you really should turn in for the night. You've had enough to drink and gotten up to enough trouble."
