A staff member

Alyssa gulped as she opened the door to see a staff member standing there. And it wasn't one of the keybearers. It was a fully dressed man, holding a briefcase. He looked as if he meant business.

"Good afternoon Alyssa, can I come in?"

Alyssa hesitated, but eventually let him inside. "Sho. Ca rih in."

The man stepped into the room. He introduced himself as Clarence.

"Alyssa, I will cut right to the chase. We know you removed a restraint without using a key."

Alyssa's heart sank. She had been caught out.

"Here. Let me remove your gag for the moment so we can talk. Don't worry, you won't get in more trouble."

Clarence helped Alyssa out of the gag. She immediately said "I'm sorry! I'm new and I didn't know that the keybearers would leave any sort of gag on me. If I had known, I would have planned ahead. I'm sorry. I just needed to restart."

Clarence was warm and understanding. "I understand completely. I would have most likely done the same. However, you still have broken a rule of the resort, and for that you must be punished."

"Punished?" Alyssa gulped.

"Oh don't worry. You are only on your first day here, so you won't get anything major like a stay in the prison."

"You have a prison?"

"Certainly," Clarence replied. "If you continue to misbehave you will be able to see it."

Alyssa wasn't sure if that was a threat or an invitation.

"Well what will you do?" She asked.

Clarence opened his briefcase and produced a piece of paper, on which was a legal contract talking about the violation Alyssa had enacted. "Well there will be the standard hundred dollar fine onto your bill for starters."

"A hundred dollars!" Alyssa was shocked. "That much for a lesser sentence? How will I get that money back?"

"Oh don't worry about that. There are many ways to earn money here in the resort. Win competitions, win at the casino, volunteer as a bondage model, that sort of thing."

One of those things sounded less appealing than the other two, Alyssa thought.

Clarence continued. "For the actual penalty itself though, you have a selection of options. The first, and the most picked option is to increase the minimum restraint limit. Meaning that instead of requiring you wear one restraint at all times, you would now have to wear two. This would last for twenty-four hours, or you can up the limit to three and reduce that to merely twelve."

"And the other options?" Alyssa asked, unsure of what could be worse.

"Well, there is the option of becoming a lab assistant for the day, helping us test out some 'unorthodox' restraints. Or we could give you an option of a restraint that we make permanent on you for the remainder of your stay. That last option, although drastic, would remove the fine."
