A slow and loud creak

It was a slow and terrible noise. As she put pressure on the lock, it gave way. However, as she tried to prevent it from snapping open loudly, she instead caused it to produce an awful creak. She knew immediately that the woman at the desk must have heard it. She want the leap into cover, but she was too late. She heard the woman gasp as she entered the office and Sophia spun around to face her. Desperately covering herself, she could not think of anything to say. For a moment, neither could the woman, but then she said:

"WHAT are you doing!?"

It was a great question. Sophia had gotten herself in an incredibly awkward scenario and she could not think of a valid way out of it. She stuttered something, but could not produce any explanation. The woman looked understandably surprised.

"Just - get out of here!"

Sophia did not know where she would even go after leaving the office and being back out there in public. She could not go back to the changing room as she had no ticket with her, but the other options were not great. She could either run outside and somehow try to make her way home to the busy streets or go into the pool cafeteria and hope to find some, any, article of clothing to cover up her shame. Or, she could beg the woman to help her out.

"Please," Sophia began "I'm just looking for some clothes!"

"How did you even get in here? And where are your own clothes?"

"I lost them!"

"Lost all your clothes? How?"

"It's a long story, can I please just grab something to cover myself up?"

Sofia just wanted to wear something, anything. She felt so humiliated standing there in full view of this stranger. She could see the woman think for a moment, and could see a mischievous smile creep on her face.

"You broke into our office. That's a crime, you know."

"I'm sorry," Sofia muttered under her breath.

"Sorry won't cut it, I'm afraid. Of course we don't want to get the police involved, but I cannot let you off the hook just because you haven't got any clothes on.",

Sofia wished she could just straight up disappear off the face of the earth right then and there, but she had no escape that would not result in her getting spotted by even more people. The lady clearly started to enjoy taunting her, and Sophia was completely at her mercy. While the woman pondered on what to do with her, Sophia could do nothing but cover herself awkwardly.

"You know what, I'm in a good mood. Just take a seat in the waiting area while I help the last few guests before my shift is up and then I'll help you out. Won't be much more than half an hour."

Sophia felt a sense of dread as she realized the woman meant she had to wait out in the lobby without anything to wear. There were a few chairs, couches, and coffee tables, but no walls or dividers that obstructed the view from the main reception area or the entrance of the building. She could maybe hide a little bit, but it was going to be nerve-wracking to be completely nude in such a public space for that long.

"You can't let me go out there with nothing!", Sophia protested.

"You're right, take this.", the woman responded gleefully as if she suddenly had a great idea.

The woman handed her a big can of coke from the cooler behind the desk and gestured for Sophia to leave. Sophia could not believe it. Yes, she just had to wait in the waiting lounge for half an hour, but she had to do so entirely naked! Feeling utterly humiliated, Sofia quickly ran to the nearest couch. She held one hand between her legs and used the other arm to cover her boobs as she ran, her round butt bouncing as the woman laughed behind her.

Sophia took refuge on a couch that faced away from the entrance. She felt incredibly embarrassed already, even though no other guests had arrived yet. She took two pillows and placed one on her lap and held the other pressed against her torso. She sank as deeply into the couch as possible, so that passers-by would only see the back of her head.

Now, she could do nothing but wait.
