A secret

Mason waits until the two are out of sight then leads you to the stone building. He pushes the door open and gestures you inside. You step into what is clearly a gardener's storage shed, with tools and hoses and sacks of fertiliser hanging on walls and stacked on the floor. Two windows and the open door provide some light, and you look around, puzzled at the smile on Mason's face.

"It's a gardening shed," you say with a shrug. "I've seen one before. What's the big deal?"

"You've never seen a gardening shed like this," he answers, stepping to the back of the room and reaching up to press at a plank high on the wall." He turns to grin at you, then pushes at the wall, opening a secret door.

"Open fucking sesame," he says with a laugh.
