A risky plan

There was no way she could run or hide. This was a big moment for her career, and she couldn't miss it - even if she was nude.

Valerie had to give the presentation.

She came up with a plan. She had rehearsed her presentation, so she knew the layout of the stage. Most of it was empty, with a single podium off in one corner, right next to the curtains from which she would enter.

There was a small gap of a couple minutes in between presentations. As soon as the previous presentation finished, she would hide in the curtains as the old presenter would leave. Before her presentation began, the lights on stage would be off. She would arrive at the podium while the stage was dark, and hide herself behind its large wooden front. If she crouched a little, she could give the whole presentation that way, with all of her body below her collarbone hidden from the audience.

Once the presentation was over, she would wait for the lights to go out again, and run back to the green room. She would have more time to improvise something to wear once time was on her side.

Her plan set in place, she opened the door. Content that the coast was clear, she ran towards the stage entrance, wearing nothing except her choker necklace and heels.
