A ring from a game

Mark had finally found some water for the girls. It had been much harder than he had expected it to be, as the lady first tried to give him some flavored water and he suspected that it wasn't what the girls wanted. Finally, after checking three more shops, he had found one which was selling pure, regular water. For some reason, that store had been perfectly hidden and the lady behind the counter had slept when Mark found her shop. It almost felt to him as if she was punished by having the most boring job in the whole park.

Regardless, he had his water and was heading back to where he had left the girls. He wondered if they had gotten into any more troubles. He gave some bimbos a wave, who waved at him as he passed them. The ladies looked good and if he hadn't something to do, he would've talked to them. But now he wanted to head back, the three probably were already annoyed that he was so late.

Then he came along to some small arcade venue and one of the grabber machines caught his attention. "One round," he said to himself. "They can wait a minute longer."

He started the machine and looked inside, trying to decide what he wanted to get. Most items were inside small plastic balls and it was a bit hard for him to see what exactly was inside each ball. He spotted one with a golden item and decided to go for it. To his surprise, the machine didn't make too much trouble and on the second try, he had picked up the ball and maneuvered it to the drop shaft. It felt down and Mark picked it up from the bottom of the machine.

"Cool, a golden ring," he said and put it on his finger. It looked great and so he grabbed the bottles of water and headed towards the girls.

It wasn't hard to spot them, especially Sky, who was standing out in the colorful crowd with her black and white look. He couldn't spot Jean but there was this hot Asian girl who looked like she was out of one of the animes he loved. She was cursing in Japanese and seemed to talk with the other two.

"Hey, where is Jean?" he said as he reached Sky and Vera. "I have your water."

"Jean is here," Sky said and made a not to the Asian girl. "She got ... let's say a different look ..."

"And she seems to be engaged," Vera said. "Show him the ring, Jean."

Asian Jean held her ring up and Mark noticed that it was the same as he got from the machine. He laughed and raised his hand. "Seems I am the lucky one," he said.

The next moment, as Jean spotted the ring on Mark's hand, she almost jumped him and kissed him passionated, totally giving in to the feeling.

"WOW," Vera said. "That was unexpected."
