A respectable, if commando, wardrobe

Mackenzie was extremely consternated that her clothes didn't stop vanishing. Whether it was from her date with Aaron, or Chris taking her showered self out to meetings probably deliberately at this point, or just a simple fall through a hedge, her clothes kept getting lost.

Her I.T. job paid well, and allowed her some savings, but couldn't completely replace the lost garments. After a few weeks back at school, Mackenzie had lost all her bras, and decided after balancing her checkbook that it simply wasn't worth replacing them. Come springtime, all her panties had disappeared, and the redhead sighed at her newfound commando state, opting instead to save up for a new car. Even her socks were gone by the end of April, and while she bought a new pack it was exhausted within two weeks.

This was not to say that she was back to Willow and Marianne, of course. She paid some pretty pennies to buy white T-shirts, which as revealing as they might be without a bra were always cheap and plentiful, and shorts from Ross. While she also had the luxuries of bedsheets and pillowcases, pajamas were no longer an option after a month so she returned to au naturel sleeping, getting used to it more than what she would have liked. The shirts and shorts kept getting lost, but could always be replenished, and Mackenzie had a wardrobe she could be somewhat secure in, though not like the good old days before she entered the Twilight Zone senior year of high school. She was even smart enough to lock her wardrobe to prevent a repeat of the Scavenger Hunt fiasco.

This sustained Mackenzie through to finals week, which stressed her out for reasons unrelated to clothing.
