A prodigy is born
The following months rolled by in a whirlwind of time. Tsunade could feel her belly grow day after day, yet the gestation passed in the blink of an eye.
After considering it carefully, she decided to use the Bloodline Limit Reincarnation Technique. Both she and Orochimaru had a common enemy now, an enemy so powerful that she must take any chance to become stronger.
The fateful day came early in the morning when she awoke to the feeling of butterflies in her belly. The gurgling felt like a stomach cramp that kept coming back at regular intervals, and they became steadily more intense as the morning progressed.
Tsunade was an experienced doctor herself, she knew what those signs indicated. She went into the delivery room she prepared long ago, removing every piece of fabric on her body except a grass-green haori, and then waiting for the big moment.
Suddenly, a burning sensation hit her abdomen, like being stabbed by a flame sword. She hunched over, clutching at her stomach as she fell to her knees. Liquid flooded out from between her legs.
My water is broken. Now I need to save strength for what is coming.
The contractions slowed a bit every so often but then they would return more intense than before, leaving Tsunade covered with sweat and shaking from the pain.
This went on for about an hour or two, until a contraction, worse than any other one came before it, sank deep into her pelvis and made her let out a piercing scream.
Tsunade groaned as another wave of contractions tightened her body. She clutched the cushion with both hands and leaned her head against it as every muscle in her body tightened beyond tight. The agony wrenched another scream from her.
My boy is not eager to join the world just yet. Stubborn little thing.
Tsunade tried to laugh but choked. She wiped her forehead with a soft cloth while keeping her breath steady. Whenever the contractions temporarily retreated, she rubbed her back, pushing down her spine to easy the lingering pain.
Then another contraction tightened Tsunade’s body. This one seemed to go on forever, dropping Tsunade to one knee. But things were moving —she could feel her baby sliding through her birth canal.
I'm crowning. Almost there. Just a few more pushes.
The next contraction was a big one. She could tell as soon as she felt the first few tremors rumbling inside her. She took a deep breath and pushed with all her might, letting out an almighty feminine roar. The lump lodged in her vagina slid inch by inch out of her before...
The child squalled, his first vocalization escaped with the power of a tiger roar.
“He’s here,” Tsunade breathed out.
She collapsed on the bed, grunting as another contraction squeezed through her pushing the rest of the placenta out. After a while, she regained enough strength to move again.
Only at that moment could she have time to see her newborn baby clearly. A healthy baby boy with black hair and a big forehead. Although he only blinked for a split moment, she could see that his eyes were Byakugan.
She stroked his cheek gently, calling him lovingly by the name that she had spent the last three months choosing:
"Welcome to this world, Neji."
