A private invitation

"Great work, everyone! Queen Medusa loved the show," Emily told her team, the applause from the guests for the Queen's fashion collection still echoing in her ears. The event had gone off without a hitch, and plenty of prominent guests had attended: the X-Men, Titans, Avengers, Justice League, and various diplomats and representatives from places like Wakanda and Atlantis. Now that the show and the initial socializing were over, the guests were all scattered about the palace, mingling and chatting with one another. "You're all free to enjoy the rest of the night as you see fit."

As Emily's team dispersed, the models -- MJ, Kori, Jean, Mari, and the rest -- were approached by a guard, who introduced herself a member of Queen Medusa's personal guard. "Miss Watson?" she asked, her voice firm and respectful.

"That's me," MJ replied, surprised. "Um, can I help you?".

"The Queen wishes to meet you," the guard replied. "If it pleases you, she has requested your presence in her private chambers."

"Her... private chambers?" MJ repeated, her surprise turning to curiosity. "You mean, like, her bedroom?"

"That is correct," the guard confirmed.

MJ couldn't help but smile as she glanced at Kori, who had an equally intrigued look on her face. "Kori? What do you think?"

"It sounds exciting... I think you should grant Queen Medusa this request," Kori grinned. "I look forward to hearing all about it later."

MJ grinned and kissed Kori. "Of course. I'll tell you every single detail."

"I expect nothing less," Kori grinned back.

"Okay," MJ replied, turning back to the guard. "I'd be honored."

"Excellent," the guard said, before turning to lead MJ away.

Kori watched MJ follow the guard, a curious smile on her lips. She was intrigued -- the Queen of Attilan, requesting her girlfriend personally meet her in her private quarters? Considering the relationship the two had, Kori couldn't help but feel proud; one of the couple's favorite pastimes was cuddling up together naked, and telling each other stories of their lesbian escapades. The thought of MJ adding another royal story to her collection sent tingles down Kori's spine, and she was extremely excited to hear the details later... and, of course, she knew she'd have her own story to tell MJ. Although what, exactly, that story would be... well, she wasn't quite sure yet.

After MJ had been gone for a few minutes, Kori felt a tap on her shoulder. "Excuse me... Princess Koriand'r of Tamaran?" a female voice asked, causing Kori to turn around.

"Yes? That's me," Kori answered, surprised to be addressed so formally. "May I help you...?"

"I've been looking forward to meeting you. I'm Princess Crystal of Attilan," the young woman replied with a warm smile.

"A pleasure to meet you, Princess Crystal," Kori smiled back eagerly, intrigued. She had a feeling she knew what she'd be telling MJ later.
