A pleasant surprise.

The Friday and week came to a thankful end as 5 o’clock rolled around. Saying goodbye to Jess he jumped in his car and sped home.

After Frank arrived home he took a shower and switched on the TV. He had only sat down for a couple of minutes when he heard a knock at the door. Getting up he walked across the room and opened it.

“Rachel!” Frank said in surprise.

“I brought you dinner.” She smiled before adding, “a non-suspicious way of coming over here.”

“Oh, how thoughtful. Thank you.” He exchanged a knowing look with her as he said it.

“It’s Lasagna.” Rachel said handing him a small Tupperware container. “You could bring the container back at 8 tomorrow morning, Dave is taking the boys to their soccer game.”

“I will definitely be sure to return this to you.” He said with a grin.

She smirked before saying goodnight and walking home
