A plan to lift the curse.

"Hmmmm. Yes." Impa said in deep meditation. "This is indeed some a dark magic curse of the ancient Shiekah.

She sat on the elevated platform at the end of her hut with Link and Zelda sitting on their knees before her. Zelda cupped her chest while rested his hands over his crotch. Neither seemed comfortable sitting butt naked infront of their oldest friends but they bared it. Hoping Impa would be able to end this nightmare of their's.

"It is a strong enchanted, but not insurmountable." She smiled. "It can be dispelled."

A wave a relief fell over our pair of heroes. The smiled brightly at one another.

"Wow so we will finally be able to get dressed?" The equally naked Paya said sitting besode Zelda with a bright smile on her face.

Impa sighed. "My dear you have not been effected by the curse. You can put some clothes on whenever you feel like."

There was a pause.

"AHHHHH!" Paya shrieked. "You're right. What have I been doing. Excuse me Lady Zelda, Sir Link!"

With that Paya sprang to her feet and sprinted upstairs to her room. Her rearend bouncing with each step. Link stared for a second catching cross looks from both Zelda and Impa.

"Anyway." A frustrated Zelda said. "What do we need to do to dispell the curse. I do hope its not a timely process. I'd hate to intrude on your home for too long, Impa."

Impa frowned. "Always so considerate Zelda, but don't worry you won't be intruding on me for long although how long the dispelling will take is up to you two."

Link and Zelda turned their heads in confusion. "What do you mean Impa?"

The only way to dispell a curse like this." Impa announced standing up. "Is with The 14 Divine Blessings, a ritual as old as the curse itself."

"Alright?" Zelda said not sure where this was going. "How do we perform this ritual?"

Impa walked past her old friends heading for the front door. She opened it and signaled for Dorian to leave his post for a moment. He nodded and marched off then the old ex-chieftain singaled for her friends to come over. After some hesitation the pair moved to the hands hiding their privates.

"The Ritual," Impa declared pointing outside with her staff. Link and Zelda followed it to the Goddess statue ajacent to Impa's hut. "Requires one, or in this case two, the pray before the ancient statues of the goddess.

"I see," Zelda said pinching her chin. "That makes sense. The blessing on the Goddess should be strong enough to dispel a curse like this."

"Come," Impa said heading down the stairs and towards the statue. "I will teach you what you need to know the Prayer of Dispelling."

Link amd Zelda were hesitant at first to head back outside but eventually followed Impa. Their arms were still glued to their privates and they bent their knees and backs in an attempt to look smaller. They were on edge the entire walk constantly worried someone would pop out of on of the houses and spot them.

"Wait for me." A now dressed Paya called from behind, but who it was didn't register to Lonk and Zelda quick enough. They gasped and sprinted past Impa the rest of the way to the Goddess Statue, leaping behind it. Their bodies contorting trying to remain totally hidden behind the stone carving. Paya ran over to the statue around the same time Impa arrived. She placed a hand over her mouth realizing what she had done. "Oh Link, Zelda I-I'm so sorry. I didn't wish to scare you."

"Not the most dignified start to an appeal to the goddess for aid." Impa laughed. Slowly Link and Zelda emerged from behind the statue, seemingly more embarrassed then if they'd been caught. Impa instructed them in preforming the ritual, the pair knelt before the statue shoulder to shoulder then they closed their eyes and spoke the prayer.

By the will of Hylia, we pray that evil shall never triumph. May all that his foul fall to the Light. Your Grace, hear our pleads and grant us divine protection and purification.

Golden light poured from the ancient stone carving bathing Link and Zelda in its heavenly glow. The coupke gasped as they felt Hylia's power banish some inner discomfort they didn't even realize they had. Although it didn't feel like it was all banished when the light disappeared.

"Congratulations you two." Paya smiled brightly. "You can finally wear clothes again! Wiat here I'll get you something."

As Paya ran back to the hut, Link and Zelda simply looked at one another their faces sporting wide smiles and watery eyes. The curse had been quite an affair for them both. A kind of horror neither had ever expected to face even when battling Calamity Ganon. Now it was over and they cohld breath easy.

Link grunted something and Zelda aggreed with a laugh. "Yes Link," She said wiping a tear from her eye. "it would have been nice if we knew the dispelling prayer back in Hateno Village. We could have dealt with all this there."

"I'm afraid." Impa sighed. "You will still have to."

Still on their knees, Link and Zelda turned toward their old friend. Her face did not share the jubilated expression they wore.

"Impa?" Zelda asked suddenly nervous. "What do you mean."

"Did you mishear me earlier Zelda. A curse this strong requires a greater spell. The 14 divine blessings."

Both nude hylians felt their bodies tighten as they turned and stood up.

"S-so we just have to pray 13 more times?" Zelda said her eyes widened amd voice shrill. She was a smaet woman. Sje already knew the answer.

"Yes," Impa sighed. "But at the 13 other ancient Goddess statues scattered across Hyrule."

The words hung in the air for a long while. The pair knew about these ancient statues. They had visited them in the past. Some in isolated locals in the wilderness, some in the center of popuation centers, and some in inhospitable places that required time and preparation to get too. To travel to all of them would take time, weeks or maybe months, and they have to visit them all naked. The couple felt like their hearts were reduced to zero. They stood their eyes wide mouths ajar waiting as though Impa would reveal this was all a silly joke, but she did nothing bit stare apologetically back at them.

"Link. Zelda." Paya smiled as she ran up. Not a care in the world. I got you some robes. I'm sure your excited to finally be free of your birthday suits." Before they could say anything Paya **** the robes into their hands. For a moment the pair felt the soft fabric press against their bare skin. The sensation of being clothed. It was a very mundane feeling, something people felt every day and never though about, but for Link and Zelda it was something they coveted. However as with many such feelings it was short lived. The blue energy of the curse spread through the robes disintegrating them and, once again, leaving the couple butt naked.

"Hmm, what happened!" Paya exclaimed, her grandmother sighed and began explaining it to her. Meanwhile Link and Zelda's shocked expressions finally shifted. Zelda's lip began to quiver, and tears rolled down her cheeks. Link simply looked down an expression of absolute defeat that no opponent had managed to create sprawled on his face. They both slowly moved their hands to cover their privates once again. Both knowing they would likely remain there for a while.
