A picnic by the lake

"A picnic by Lake Toho-Moho," he texted his ex-wife, "the four of us, enjoying a summer day like we did in the good old days. I'll bring the food."

"Sounds good," Lauren texted back, "what time?"

"How about 11? Early enough for the sun, late enough for the girls to sleep in lol."

"Perfect! We'll meet you there!"

Jason simply reacted a thumbs up to that last message and put the phone down. His plan was to get the trio to go skinny-dipping, but he knew that would be a tall order, especially if they brought along bathing suits. Sighing, he sat down to his legal pad and started jotting down a comedy of errors to get the three naked - he thought about playing them off one another, or picking a favorite to help him in his bidding.

After two hours of contemplative thought and scribbling, he wrote down his master plan and all of its contingencies. Branches abounded from a giant flow chart, with fishing lines, poison ivy, and plain old skinny-dippin' just some of his schemes. While he regretted having to do this (especially getting his own flesh-and-blood daughters naked in public), he knew that there was no other way to get them to snap out of their neuroticism and put his family back together.

With that, Jason went to bed. He couldn't sleep at first, but knew he had to be sharp in the morning so took a Benadryl to calm him down. Thankfully, his alarm blared just in time and he rose sharp as a tack. He smiled driving down to Lake Toho-Moho, and that smile grew even bigger as he saw his immediate family show up just in time and park right next to him only several yards from the lake.
