A perfect combination of wealth and beauty

As Harper, I left the apartment and walked to the mall. She didn't live too far from it, fortunately, so I reached it fairly quickly. I sat at a cafe near some expensive-looking clothing stores, ordering something and waiting for an opportunity to arise.

I heard Harper speak in my mind again. Be careful with my money, please. I don't have a lot of savings.

I put on a pair of earphones in order to be able to talk with Harper without attracting too much attention. "You'll get your money back once I find my new host, Harper, don't worry."

Are you sure we're going to find someone now? It's Monday afternoon, I don't think a lot of people go to the mall during that time. Harper wondered.

"Huh?"

I could hear Harper mentally sigh. You forgot?

"I did..." I admitted. "It's not like I was able to remember the day it was when I was locked up in that cell..."

A pang of guilt came from her. ...Sorry.

I clenched my fists. "It's in the past. I just need to move on…" The waiter arrived and brought me the cappuccino I ordered. "Thank you, sir." I took a sip, enjoying the taste. "Ah… It feels nice..."

It's good, yeah. Harper agreed.

Glancing at the hot cup in front of me, I smiled weakly. “I really missed these kinds of simple things. I've only been locked up for four days, but it felt like an eternity.”

The chief went too far with you… Harper thought with remorse.

"She did, yes… But I know that she had a reason to be like that."

It surprised Harper. What do you mean?

While slowly drinking the sweet drink, I told Harper about what I learned from Risa's memories and the discussion I had with Liliana before she passed.

I see… A minute later, Harper spoke again. Do you... trust Maia? She seems really dangerous, Ben.

I nodded. "I do. I know that you and Risa have good reasons to hate her, and I won't try to change your mind. I don't believe she's purely evil, but I will do my best to stop her if she goes too far."

Noble goal, but how will you do that? She asked.

I scratched our head. "I don't know yet. If the body she'll help me get is strong enough, I might be able to oppose her. But it'd only be a last resort. I want to stay on good terms with her.”

Harper's bitterness was strong. It's going to take a while for me to ever forgive her, even if I know we wronged her as well.

"I know. I'm glad that you've accepted me at least, Harper.”

After a moment, I spotted someone who looked interesting. A breathtaking tall blonde girl with quite a lot of shopping bags in her hands, accompanied by a tall girl with dark-blue dyed hair. The blonde girl seemed familiar.

Cassandra Wright. Harper thought, surprising me.

It made me remember. Harper and Liliana worked for Cassandra's father one time, serving as security for a gala, with his daughter present. Harper got quite the crush on her that time.

"I see..."

The Wright family is one of the richest in the country. If you're looking for someone wealthy, she'd be a great choice.

My gaze locked onto Cassandra, observing her closely. Even from this distance, I could see how flawless her skin was, and her smile was bright as the sun. Her body was also very curvaceous and healthy.

I smiled, my cheeks reddening. "Indeed. And she's really beautiful, too.”

That she is. She's like an angel. Harper agreed.

Cassandra and her friend entered another clothing store. It was my queue to move. I got up, leaving a bill for the drink and following the girls inside the store. I kept a low profile, faking looking at shirts while keeping an eye on Cassandra. I saw her grabbing quite a few clothes, talking to her friend and being a ray of sunshine. After choosing enough clothes to fit an entire family for days, she entered one of the changing rooms, and I decided to go to the one next to her after grabbing some random stuff.

“Let's get ready." I turned around and sat on the stool, ready to send a part of me out of Harper's body. I'm sorry, Cassandra, but I need you…

Part of me dropped onto the floor, forming a small green blob. It was my first time seeing my real appearance, and I was really disgusting. I had no doubt humans would fear me should they see me.

"Oww... It's so weird…” Harper clearly disliked this feeling of having a part of me moving out of her throat, but I was with her on that. It was a pretty awful sensation.

I saw the small part of me rising from the floor. It was really strange, as my slimey part could see all around itself. I moved it towards the other side, towards Cassandra. Slipping underneath the wall with ease, I saw her, trying new clothes and looking at herself in the mirror, striking a few poses.

I braced myself for what I was about to do. Here we go… I jumped onto her, doing my best to get inside her mouth as quickly as possible.

I took her Cassandra by surprise, she barely had the time to react before I fully slithered inside her. As usual, I felt this part of me slowly dissolving, and I briefly lost all sensations. But then, they vividly returned as I got in control of her. I didn't open my eyes right away, though. Having three bodies was making me dizzy again, like what happened when I first possessed two people.

I briefly took control of Harper again. "Harper, I'll let you in control to get used more easily to being inside three bodies." I then slowly released my grip on her, focusing more on Cassandra, or Cassie, as she liked to be called.

I opened her eyes, and turned to stare in the mirror in front of me. I blushed at the sight of this stunning young woman. "You truly are beautiful, Cassandra." I muttered, mesmerised by my reflection.

"Are you okay, Cass? You're taking longer than usual," I heard her friend say, surprising me. I had forgotten about her.

She was named Holly, I managed to gather from Cassie's memories. "I'm alright, Holly, don't worry."

I left the dressing room, ready to play the part of Cassie for now. I didn't want to act in a strange manner, so I preferred to wait before talking with Harper in that body. She stayed in the store, observing me from afar. Even if I wasn't in control, I could still see Cassie from her eyes.

I took a cute pose for Holly. "How do I look?"

Holly slightly blushed as she looked at me. "You look stunning, as always."

I smiled warmly at her. Her reaction was pretty cute. "Thanks, Holly! I'm going to take these ones, then. Let me change back."

Holly seemed surprised, tilting her head. "You're already done? We just entered this store."

"My dad asked me to come home early, for some reason. But we can continue next time!

I came up with an excuse to leave early because we'd otherwise be shopping until nightfall, if Cassie's memories were anything to go by. I noticed that I got better at accessing my hosts' memories, for some reason. Maybe it was because I was getting used to doing it.

Holly smiled. "Sure!"

I changed into the clothes that Cassie was wearing before and left the mall, parting ways with Holly. I told Harper to go to the park not too far from the mall, and I went there as Cassie.
