A normal school bus

Soon, a big yellow bus turned the corner from down the street. The amber lights flashed as it pulled up next to Jim and Timmy, stopping before setting the air brakes, which always freaked Jim out that he peed a little. Once the doors opened, the two friends climbed up the stairs, greeting their bus driver before looking for a place to sit. There were already a a few on the bus, some in baby clothes while other just wore a shirt, shoes and a diaper. While most of the ones around were chatting with each other, playing with their DS, or just watching the world go by, there were quite a few who were taking a nap, sucking their pacifiers or cuddling their favorite stuffed animal until they got to school.

Jim and Timothy looked up and down the alley to find an empty seat. Soon they found one and sat down as the bus started to move again. The two young adults went along for the ride, playing on their cell phones while listening to the background noise. A few minutes and a couple of stops later, the boys looked up to see another one of their friends, Mindy, sporting a My Little Pony t-shirt with a glitter vinyl picture of Rainbow Dash on the front, light up shoes, and wearing a pink and purple My Little Pony diaper pattern with Twilight Sparkle on the front and the wet indicators still intact. In other words, she looked cool.

"Hey guys!" Mindy said as she sat next to Jim, "How was your weekend?"

"My cousins were in town the other day and we got to play in the mud." Timmy said proudly.

"Lucky," Jim pouted, "I had to go see the doctor for my yearly check-up." The three shivered at the sound of that, knowing the horrors. "At least I got a lollipop."

"Well, I found out that there's a new family moving into the colony!" Mindy exclaimed. Both Jim and Timothy looked at her with shocked expressions. "And the best part, they have kids that are the same age as us."

This got all three excited, mostly because they have only heard rumors of the outside world around the playground and during nap time. So, to have new students from outside moving in piqued their curiosity.

After another minute, the bus finally arrived at school. All three friends got off and headed to their classroom, where they placed their bags into their cubbies and went to the play area to kill some time until the bell rang, signaling for all the students to take their seats. Jim, Timothy & Mindy sat eagerly, waiting for their teacher to announce the new students.

"Alright class!" the teacher shouted, getting everyone's attention, "We have some new students joining us today. Please be welcoming and show some kindness to them as they're not from around here, so they're not used to how things are." The class started to murmur, some looking confused as if they didn't know what the teacher was talking about. "Now then, please welcome to our class..."
