What's next?
A normal Thursday Evening...
Kara smiled thinking about how cute Jason and Raven’s puppy love was at dinner. Of course, Alfred insisted on calling her by her formal name of Rachel Roth. As she looked over the balcony Babs slapped her on the ass. Kara turned around and smiled at the sight of her friend shaking her hand like she had slammed an iron I beam. Kara looked Babs and Tula up and down. Babs was dressed in black goth platform thigh boots, purple rubber leggings, a purple latex long sleeved mini-dress, and black leather driving gloves. Tula was dressed like a goth mermaid; black latex leggings, a black mesh swimsuit wrap skirt, a black latex bikini top and a fishnet t-shirt. Kara smiled at Aquaman’s understudy and giggled at Babs.
“Such cute red haired Goth girls,” Kara snickered.
“A pretty Blonde Goth,” Tula smiled, “I like the latex and leather.”
Tula ran a hand over Kara’s leather covered bicep and smiled at the leather mini-dress and latex gloves and thigh highs.
“Very Pastel Goth,” Babs kissed Kara and put the bubblegum pink gloved hand on her ass.
“Thanks Babs,” Kara giggled as she kissed her friend with benefits.
Tula kept her hand on Kara’s black leather dress.
“What is this?” Tula asked.
“Lambskin,” Kara said, “Vegetable tanned.”
“It feels nice,” Tula said, “I like it. A lot softer than shark skin.”
“Feel it,” Babs moved the hand to Kara’s tits, “She really fills it out nice doesn’t she?”
Kara gave Babs a hard stare.
“Subtlety isn’t your thing is it?” Kara sarcastically asked Babs, “Come on, lets get a drink.”
Kara started towards the bar of the club but stopped and turned to Babs.
“You don’t have to hold my ass all the way there,” Kara said.
“But your butt is so nice,” Babs giggled.
“Come on,” Kara breathed heavily.
The three went and got soda’s from the bar. None of them were old enough to drink but they wouldn’t drink anyways because the plan was to go on patrol later. They made their way to a table downstairs near the dance floor. As they found an open table Babs stopped and grabbed Kara’s arm.
“Birdman, nine-thirty, five meters,” Oracle hissed, before she reverted back to her Babs the Goth girl persona, “what is that a-hole doing here?”
“Yeah,” Tula said, “Even playboy Bruce can’t get away with slumming it in here. Ah three o’clock, red head in the yellow race dress, with three agents.”
“I see them,” Babs whispered, “What do you think? Two bodies and a talent rep? How loose in your leash tonight?”
“Loose enough,” Kara quickly glanced at the group, “Larry and Charlie have Smith and Wesson Shields and Ricky is packing three phones, Gina is packing a phone and a few cards.”
“Got it,” Barbara and Tula made sense of the coded message.
“They let just anyone in here don’t they!” a loud and hackle raising voice barked from a few meters behind Kara.
Kara turned around as her heart sank. In front of her was the ironic mockery of innocence, dressed in a white silk evening gown. Kara locked eyes with the evil behind the brown eyes of her hated foe.
“Luthor,” Kara noted.
“Zoey,” Nasthalthia “Nat or Nasty” Luthor half sneered, half smiled.
“Who’s Zoey?” Tula said, “I don’t see no Joey.”
“You didn’t tell them your name?” Nasty laughed.
“Actually, they know my family name is Zor-El,” Kara said, “But I go with Wayne now. Bruce adopted me and made me his family, rather than just giving me an internship…”
“I am sure they put a nice little ‘property of the Wayne family’ tag on your collar,” Nasty sneered.
“What did Uncle Lex put on yours? ‘If found, please keep’?” Kara shot back.
“Actually, I am his heir and second in command now,” Nasty bragged, “But I am here for other reasons that to brag to the peasants… Ta-ta.”
Nasty walked past the three at the table and off on to the dance floor. The three arched eyebrows when she walked up to Oswald Cobblepot and started dancing with him.
“What is she up to?” Barbara asked half sinking into Oracle mode.
“Race dress is coming,” Tula snapped as quietly as she could.
The three took breaths and went back to their standings as three College aged Goth Girls hanging out at a club. The red haired young woman in the yellow race dress came over and looked out on to the dance floor where they had been looking.
“That is very Mexican,” the new woman said.
Kara looked at the new comer and noted a hint of California in her voice.
“What’s that?” Tula asked.
“Them, just like the flag,” the young woman pointed right at Nasty and Oswald, “A bird dancing with a rattle snake.”
The three burst out laughing as the brazen statement. After a second, Kara collected herself and turned back to new comer. She looked her up and down before speaking with the new comer.
“Let me guess,” Kara said, “Sony Music?”
“Universal Records,” the new comer admitted, “My name is Patsy Walker. They told me if I could hang out with the Gotham Goth Girls, without getting arrested, then they would sponsor me on tour.”
“So you are here with…” Babs started.
“Yes, Larry, Curly and Mo over there,” Patsy admitted.
“What did they tell you?” Kara asked out of a real interest, “Why would you be at risk of getting arrested… I mean…”
“You never have been arrested?” Patsy said, “Well you are Kara Wayne, adopted daughter of the richest man in Gotham. You are Barbara Gordon, daughter of the police chief. Your name is Tula Marius, you work for the Gotham Consulate of Atlantis so you have diplomatic immunity. But you three have gotten into enough trouble that anyone else would have gotten arrested.”
“They did their homework,” Tula shrugged, “But there is a difference between having Diplomatic Immunity and just having flagrant disrespect for the law.”
“I know that. But your reputations together are a bit, sketchy at times,” Patsy said, “That’s why they want to see how I handle myself with you.”
“What does Universal Records think we drink while we are here?” Barbara asked.
“With the way you three have rushed off to the bathroom?” Patsy started, “Four Locos and vomit medication.”
“Not exactly,” Barbara giggled.
“Where is your ‘Anna?’ I was expecting your little friend to be with you?” Patsy asked.
“What do you think?” Tula asked, “What did the Record company tell you?”
Patsy looked around.
“She hangs out with you and your adopted younger brother Jason,” Patsy said, “But your brother isn’t around… She is on a date with Jason?”
“I think ‘Date’ is a little strong for the kids,” Barbara snickered.
“But she is hanging out with Jason?” Pasty asked.
“She is really shy,” Kara said, “But she is a nice girl.”
“So what was with the Rattle Snake trying to pick a fight?” Patsy asked.
“Her mom married a rich European Nobleman, they spoiled her rotten, she had her pick of Ivy league schools based on her family, her uncle gave her an internship to do nothing and get paid from a multibillion dollar multinational with their name on it…” Kara started.
“So she is an entitled spoiled bitch,” Patsy said the unspoken thought.
“And she was in every class Kara had in high school,” Barbara finished the reasoning.
“She would never leave me alone, her and her cousin! Both of them were absolute bitches!” Kara said.
“Who’s her uncle?” Patsy asked.
“Lex Luthor,” Barbara said as she took a sip of her drink.
“Ah, makes perfect sense,” Patsy said.
Tula looked at Kara and slammed her drink.
“Come on, everyone bottoms up,” Tula said, “If you want to roll with us, you better take care of your tab. We are heading out. This place is infested.”
“Got that right,” Kara said.
“Especially with Birdman,” Barbara noted.
*
Turned out Patsy wasn’t that bad. She could rock the dance floor, she managed to talk her way onto the stage of a house band in another club. She proved she had pipes on her and she knew how to use them. Seems her parents had put her in classes for singing and acting so she wasn’t just a cute kid as they pushed her to be a child star. Kara made arrangements for Patsy to join her the next afternoon to get decked out in fetish goth wear at Freaks of Gotham. Kara wanted to see how she reacted to that. One note that Kara was concerned about was Patsy was put off by swearing. That would be a problem on tour. Kara had been backstage at enough concerts to know that the crews were foul mouthed monsters.
They managed to duck out at 10 citing school, the police father and having to work in the morning as reasons to duck out early. Patsy was already starting to feel in the grove with them.

Batgirl and Oracle were watching the Falcone funeral from the shadows. Oracle had hijacked the camera feeds and was watching all the video feeds. Batman and Robin were tracking rivals that might try to disrupt the funeral. Thankfully Kate was keeping an eye on Penguin since it meant that Kara wouldn’t have to deal with him or Nasty at all.

Far away from Gotham…
Clark sat at the table looking out the window. They Watch-tower was passing over the Siberian plains making its way towards the People’s Republic of China and then towards South East Asia. Barry Allen appeared next to Clark.
“So, you wanted to see me?” Barry asked.
Clark turned and looked at his fast friend. Barry was in his red speedster suit while Clark was still in his shirt and suit pants from Work.
“How are things going with Wally?” Clark asked.
“Fine,” Barry said, “He is in that whole chasing girls phase, but he should start to get serious about finding the right one soon.”
“Some times I wonder if it was a mistake to let Bruce and Helen set up that school for sidekicks. Some times it seems like they are teaching them to be resentful towards us,” Clark said.
A hearty chuckle brought their attention towards the door way. Barry and Clark turned and looked at Hal and Diana walking into the room.
“Bruce and Helen aren’t teaching the kids that,” Hal snickered, “Kids learn that on their own. Every kid goes throw a phase of thinking they know more than their parents and teachers.”
“Don’t forget,” Diana started, “Richard is touring America with Kori to find himself outside of Bruce’s Shadow.”
The three noted Diana using Richard instead of Dick.
“Yeah,” Barry smiled, “Even his boy, DICK, is taking some time to find himself. The sidekicks are fine, they are just growing up. DICK, Wally, Roy and the rest of them are just trying to find themselves as adult.”
Hal was smirking at Diana not liking Barry’s emphasis on using Dick. But he noticed something else.
“This isn’t about Dick, Roy, or the others is it?” Hal asked, “You are concerned about Kara.”
Clark didn’t say anything.
“You are concerned about your relationship with Kara,” Diana said.
Clark looked back out the window.
“She can’t hear me up here,” Clark said, “I wonder if she would listen to me down there.”
“Clark,” Diana started, “When is the last time you talked to her?”
“A year ago?” Clark said.
“How old were you when you left Krypton?” Barry asked, “What ten?”
“Three weeks,” Clark admitted.
“Oh wow,” Hal said, “How old was Kara when she left Krypton?”
“Like thirteen?” Clark shrugged.
“And you arrived…” Barry prodded.
“Thirty years before Kara did,” Clark said.
“Maybe a part of her still thinks of her cousin as a little baby? Have you thought of that?” Diana took a set next to Clark and put a hand on his shoulder, “You grew up on Earth, she has only been here a few years. Bruce, Dick and Alfred are the ones that brought her into their home. The girls of Gotham welcomed her.”
“How often do you hang out with her?” Barry asked.
“Ahh,” Clark stammered.
“Barry how often did you hang out with Wally before he became your sidekick?” Hal asked.
“Oh god,” Barry said, “Like every weekend I would spend a few hours with him. He would hang out with his grandparents while I was dating Iris and come by while his parents worked to hang out with Iris and me after the wedding.”
“So he is a nephew to you, and he looks at you as an uncle?” Hal said.
“Yeah,” Barry smiled, “Wally is my nephew.”
“But you spent time with him and earned his trust and affections,” Diana picked up on the thread, “Clark you have to spend time with Kara, I am sure she loves you. You are her family, but when have you two taken time to get to know each other?”
“Imagine if you two landed together and the Kents took both of you in, you would be Big sister and little brother,” Hal said, “But her rocket got lost after taking a wrong turn at Albuquerque.”
Barry sighed and held up his hand with his finger a fraction of an inch from his thumb.
“You were this close to making a great point there, Bugs,” Barry said.
Clark looked out at the Antarctic below the space station.
“Call her and find out if she wants to hang out some time,” Hal said, “I am sure she could use a break form that vampire novel of a city.”
Clark went to reach for the special phone Bruce had given them.
“No man,” Barry said, “Normal phone, like the one you use to order Chinese in Metropolis.”
“I figured as much,” Clark said, “But this one just buzzed.”
In turn each of the other Justice League members felt the communicators buzz as a message reached them.
“Where is Ollie and Dinah?” Clark asked looking at the screen.
*
“Out with-it Alfred!” Bruce said as he buried his face in his palms.
“I think that image speaks for itself,” Alfred intoned with his sardonic note.
“Ahh Bruce?” Kara said stifiling back laughter as she exited the elevator, “Why did you blast this to the entire Justice League network?”
Kara looked next to Dragula.
“Oh, Jason forwarded it,” Kara said.
Kara looked up at the email and open picture on the main terminal.
“I think it is clear the lovely miss Kyle is in Star City,” Alfred said calmly, “Shall we bring young master Jason upstairs?”
“Sure,” Kara snickered, “I see the Bolo launcher works great.”
Kara went over and picked up the tied-up Robin and tossed him over a shoulder and snickered. Kara stole another look at Ollie in his Green Arrow outfit tied to the chair with Dinah in her Black Canary outfit sitting on his lap tied to him and the chair in a kissing position with gags in their mouths.
