A new start

The two of you had moved in together shortly after everything cooled down. You knew you wanted to get married, but right now, the two of you simply wanted to enjoy each other.

Aubrey was almost always all over you at home; she would snuggle, hold your hand, lay her head in your lap — her love language was definitely physical touch.

You were also glad to see her quite a bit due to the two of you working together. The two of you got on extremely well, too. You were, by all rights, a dynamic duo in the office. You two handled cases together, usually knocking them out of the park. You didn't know that you could be this happy! Even though things had started... oddly, you were overjoyed that your relationship was blossoming.
