A new redhead

It was a foggy afternoon in early fall. The rain had fallen for most of the day, turning the road a bit muddy. The carriage was driving slowly and Annalise enjoyed the view of the surrounding mountains.

It had been a long journey from the south, through changing climate and she had been spending most of her days either on a ship sailing north along the coast and then in carriages as the snow-covered mountains came closer. All while she was really nervous about this new part of life ahead of her.

"You aren't from the mountains, aren't you?" the second girl in the carriage said. She had boarded the carriage in the last city they had passed through before heading into the mountains.

"I haven't," Annalise said. "I am from the coast. You?"

"Most of my life," the girl said. "I grew up in the Silverstream Forest. Pyria my name."

"Annalise," Annalise introduced herself. "A nice name." She mustered the girl a bit. Long brown hair was hiding some pointy ears. "Are you an elf?"

"Half-elf," Pyria said. "My mom is a human, but she grew up with the elves of the forest." Pyria looked at Annalise. "Which school are you joining? I am, surprisingly, an earth witch."

Annalise blushed a bit. "I am joining the school of lust," she said and noticed that Pyria looked a bit surprised. "I don't really know what to do about that."

"It sounds cool," Pyria said. "I heard a bit about it. How ... how you charge yourself."

"That is one thing which concerns me most."

Pyria laughed. "Don't tell me you are a lust witch and never had some fun."

"I ... I hadn't ...," Annalise said.

Pyria smirked and looked over to the third traveler, a young man who could be a dwarf. He was sleeping for a few hours and only his raising chest ensured the girls that he wasn't dead. "Want to try?"

"I ... I don't know what you mean?"

Pyria bends over and Annalise could see how she pushed her lips forward. She wasn't sure but somehow she felt that this was fine. When the two women touched their lips, hers tingled a bit and they kissed for just a few seconds. "See," the half-elf said. "Wasn't that bad."

Outside the rain had turned into a little bit of snow. "It ... it wasn't," Annalise said and smiled as both of them leaned back. For a half-hour they drove further up the mountains, then buildings appeared out of the fog. "Seems we arrived," she said as they stopped in a courtyard.

They seem to be awaited by staff members. Now also the dwarven man seemed to awake and stretched himself. Then he opened the door and climbed out, not before turning back to the girls. "Was by the way a nice show with the kiss," he said with a grin and then turned back to the staff members, greeting one of them.

Both girls blushed a bit and got out themselves.

"Annalise," a lady in a long robe with red seaming said. "I am Professor Theodora, I am the Lady of the House of your dorm. Please follow me."

Pyria waved as Annalise followed the professor towards a building.
