What happens next?
A new opportunity
The rubbery squeak of the damp latex was the sound of her breathing now. A constant reminder, an oppressive, plastic echo that accompanied her everywhere. Magi moved through the academy hallways like another automaton, a black, shiny, sweaty figure in Costa's machinery. The tight, thin fabric marked every line of her body, making her feel naked under the constant scrutiny of her peers. Hope, that fragile flame that sometimes dared to flicker, was almost extinguished, choked under the black pressure that molded and displayed her every move.
That is why, when the order to report to the Sub-Officer's office echoed in her ears through the general murmuring, the first thing she felt was not fear, but a deep, weary resignation. What new punishment, what new turn of the screw in her humiliation, had she devised now?
Costa's office smelled of aggressive cleanliness and authority. The woman was behind her desk, impeccable, her hands clasped on the polished wood surface. There were no papers. Just a thin, elegant black box in front of her.
"Cadet Rojas," Costa's voice was surprisingly neutral, lacking its usual sharp tone. "Sit down."
Magi obeyed, the compressive material subtly crunching as she bent, the sound absurdly amplified in the silence of the room.
"Discipline and obedience sometimes have unexpected rewards," Costa began, her eyes scrutinizing Magi as if evaluating an instrument. "Your... discreet profile. Your ability to go unnoticed, to blend into the environment, has not escaped my attention."
Magi blinked, confused. Praise? It was a trap. It had to be.
"There is an operation underway," Costa continued, lowering her voice a tone, giving her words an air of false confidentiality. "A delicate investigation. Money laundering through high-end leisure establishments. One in particular: the Ébano club. An elegant, discreet, very exclusive place."
She opened the black box. Inside, resting on an even darker velvet, were two objects. One was a dress. Black, made of a fabric that looked liquid and heavy at the same time, absurdly simple yet profoundly suggestive. It was short, tight, with a neckline that promised to reveal more than it concealed. The other object was a small device, a micro-implant for the ear, no bigger than a grain of rice.
"We need someone inside," Costa said, picking up the dress and holding it as if displaying another uniform. "Someone who doesn't attract attention through **** or presence, but through... adaptability. Someone who can listen, observe, and extract information without being remembered. Your manageable appearance, your lack of... stridency, make you ideal."
Magi felt the floor move beneath her feet. Was she offering her a real mission? An opportunity?
"It is a crucial mission, Rojas," Costa emphasized, locking her eyes on Magi's. "Success could mean a radical change in your situation here. A re-evaluation of your position. A... redemption."
The word redemption floated in the air, sweet and poisonous. Magi looked at her, searching her face for any sign of a lie, of mockery. She only saw the officer's cold, professional mask.
"The dress is your gear. The micro will allow you to hear us and receive instructions. You must integrate, socialize, and obtain information about the financial operations of the place." Costa extended the box towards her. "Do you accept the mission, Cadet?"
Magi looked at the black dress. It was everything she hated. Vulgar, sexualizing, a garment designed to be looked at, to be desired. But it was also a way out. A chance to prove she was more than a broken toy, more than a failed prototype. A possibility, however remote, of escaping the hell of compression and constant humiliation.
Her hand, almost of its own accord, rose. Her fingers, which had only touched rough, sweaty fabrics for weeks, brushed the cold, heavy silk of the dress. The sensation was so alien, so foreign to her reality, that it almost made her pull back.
"Yes, Sub-Officer," she heard her own voice say, sounding hoarse and distant. "I accept."
Costa offered a thin smile, a quick stretch of the lips that didn't reach her eyes.
"Excellent. Instruction will begin immediately." She paused. "And Cadet... do not disappoint me. The future of your career here hangs by a thread. And by your capacity for... performance."
Magi took the box. The weight of the dress and the small micro-implant was insignificant compared to the weight of the expectation and terror she now carried on her shoulders. She had said yes. She had agreed to walk into the lion's den, dressed in a black silk skin that promised to be as oppressive as the compression uniform, but in a completely new and terrifying way. Redemption had a price, and she was about to find out how high it was.
What is the instruction like?

Under the Surface
Chronicle of a Humiliation
Magi is a solitary and reserved young woman who prefers the company of books to people's company. With her untamable black hair, faint freckles, and loose-fitting clothes, she projects an image of practicality and comfort. Her large green eyes, though curious, avoid eye contact, revealing her introverted nature. Despite her serene appearance, a deep disquiet haunts her, anticipating an imminent and inevitable change that threatens to shatter the fragile balance of her quiet life.
