A new day a new discovery (Tyler's pov)

Beep Beep Beep

'Shut up you confounded noise maker.' I groan as I get up from where I was sleeping and turn off the alarm. Looking around after getting the sleep out of my eyes I see I fell asleep in the research and medical bay again so most likely mom, sis or nana were the ones that put me on one of the beds after most likely falling asleep at my desk again.

Sighing as I get up head to the mess hall and get some breakfast and coffee in me, thank whatever gods exist that the farm animals and edible plants we took with us survived the trip. Heck I was shocked that the composition of the soil here was not only compatible with the plants and creatures we brought with us but that the seeds we planted day one were ready for harvest the next day, so we're not in immediate danger of lack of food anytime soon let alone the local food sources being safe for consumption.

Anyway I shake my head from getting sidetracked, I need to finish my breakfast and check if the scout drones I sent out yesterday to help lighten the load on those on scouting duty have come back and see if they found anything.

After finishing my breakfast and head back to my work station and I boot up the computer and see that yes my scout drones returned along with finding something of intrest.
