A new Nora

As much as you want to fuse TOMBOY and HOTTIE or PREPPY and PREPPY together, they are combinations that you do not intend to use right now, so you leave them for the moment. What you want is change Nora's attitude a bit more. She is no longer bossy since yesterday, but she is still too much stuck up for your tastes.

You move to the counter and ask for a pastry, making sure to make hand to hand contact with Zaylee as she hands the sad looking slice of pie. You would have loved to take punk or something from the blue haired barista, but for now your mind is focused on a more targeted word. ENERGETIC. Yes, it works! You cross how much targeted you can be with the extraction from the list of tests you are making and quickly load IMMATURE and ENERGETIC together.

And so the long wait has begun. You would love to make more tests at the moment, but the watch is unusable during the "cooking" time. To pass the time you make a grid on your notebook and try and come up with mixing names, like BUSINESS ON THE DANCE FLOOR or TOMBOY PANTY DROPPER. Honestly, you would love if the combination that you are preparing would be called CHAOS GREMLIN.

Meanwhile you keep an eye on Zaylee, wanting to watch real time as the usually high energy barista becomes more mellow by the moment.

When five minutes are left on the watch, you start thinking on a way to pass the trait to Nora even if you had no intention of paying and leaving. You browse on your phone until you find a jpeg of a obviously fake food voucher, without even a qr code or a bar code attached and keep it ready.

BEEP BEEP

As soon as the red light appears you jump to look at the result.

RESTLESSLY-CHILDISH

You nod to yourself happy with the result, then get up from your seat a second time. This time you approach the senior employee, phone in hand and watch blinking red.

"Excuse me, do you accept these type of coupons?" Without missing a beat you thrust your phone into Nora's hand, eyes glued on the light of the watch. Bingo!

"This isn't even in English" the older woman responds, handing you the phone back as quickly as you took it. And as quickly as the red light turned off, a green light immediately turn on. You have to really be careful with this thing. Muttering an apology between your breath you walk back to your table to see what new have you grabbed.

MANAGER, well guess who is gonna loose her position! You would care if it was any other person than obnoxious Nora.

As of now you have a show to watch! In the meantime you start the countdown for TOMBOY and HOTTIE.

It takes about around ten minutes to notice any external changes in Nora. At first she starts slouching, resting her elbows on the counter while she starts browsing her phone. Meanwhile her hair grows, morphing in a couple of braided pigtails that rest on her shoulders. After not long, you notice... is she vibrating? Is obvious that she is not handling well being stuck on cash register duty, as she is moving one leg so much that she would dig a hole underneath herself if it was shaped like a drill.

Her attire is also subtly changing. While bounded by the restriction of her work uniform, the white shirt underneath her black apron is very much undone so you could se some of her cleavage. Also the shirt is no longer tucked inside of her pants, and her sleeves are rolled asymmetrically up. Lastly a couple of light blue hairpins adorn the top of her head.

You were hoping that she would become younger, but in fact this did not happen. She is still around fifty, and it shows, even if her newly appeared makeup is trying so much to hide this fact. You also don't know why you thought that making her more energetic would make her less stuck up, but the way she is now looking at the young guy paying for his coffee is the exact look that a popular highschool mean girl would be looking to someone beneath her.

Yeah, not the best change, but at least it's a decent test. And it's a new starting base for Nora.
