A mysterious tablet delivered to your house.

I've just moved back home with my parents for Christmas Break and and already I'm already looking forward to living in the dorms, spending all of my time a couple hours away from home for a few months helped me forget why I wanted to stay on campus. Namely my dad is an ass, my youngest sister is his princess that is currently asleep and will likely be for a couple more hours, and mom is well the nicest person in the family but has issues with anxiety and confidence. My two older sisters are out of the house and my oldest has a family of her own now.

Thankfully since it's mid morning dad's out of the house at a golf game and my sister is still asleep. As for me I've been a very productive member of society, primarily scrolling through social media wasting my time and checking for the status of my finals and I would have spent most of the day in that funk if not for the doorbell ringing.

Making my way down stairs I nearly run into mom as she comes out of the kitchen still wearing rubber gloves and she nearly jumps out of her skin. She had always been on the heavy side and mousie, but now more so as dad had thrown himself into his work.

"Everything okay mom?" I ask furrowing my brows.

"Oh..No, I-I mean yes. I-I just forgot you were home." She fidgets pulling at the hem of her polka-dotted sundress.

"You expecting someone?" I ask inching close to the door as someone rings again.

"No, but maybe you're father is." She responds flinching as the person changes to knocking again and I sigh making my way to the door. I wasn't sure what I was expecting but wasn't expecting a drop dead gorgeous UPS drive that immediately greets me with a smile.

"Morning Sir. Are you Doe?" The woman asks as I stare at her for a moment.

"Uh... Yes that's my last name."

"Perfect!" She declares thrusting a battered clip board in my hands, "Please sign and date."

Not questioning it I sign and date only for her to thrust a nondescript foot long by half foot wide box into my hands, that I could have sworn she didn't have before.

"Have a fun time, sir!" The woman beams as she leaves just as suddenly appear and I can't help but ogle her for a moment, her brown uniform hugging her curves and hiding nothing.

"Is it from amazon?" Mom asks approaching me as I raise an eye brow.

"No. I don't know where it's from, it only has our last name on it." I respond showing it to her.

"Maybe we should wait till your father comes home," Mom murmurs as she fidgets.
