A month later.

Arerto and Sabine woke in Arerto's chambers and fooled around for a while kissing and fondling each other. Tine had passed and they had grown closer and Sabine was beginning to accept that Arerto considered her an equal and not just a servant. This at headquarters were going well and beginning to run as it should. Gone was the need to have things in triplicate. Also gone were several ranks now it had been streamlined so that there were no sub ranks.

The ships had been built and scheduled for next month was a joint exercise with the army and navy combined to test the level of cooperation. Sabine got up and kissed Arerto one more time before heading back to her chambers to get ready for the day. She had long given up on caring who saw her leave the queen's chambers as Arerto was not bothered who knew.

Arerto got showered and dressed and headed down to the throne room ready to begin her day. Today would be endless diplomatic visits from the regions of Freeconia. The one thing that cheered Arerto's heart was when the business ended and she and Sabine could go for their nightly ride in the meadows and then in the bedroom. Meanwhile, Sabine was inspecting a female company of troops who were training with swords and spears smiling remembering when she had done this.

Tomorrow she would be traveling the borders to inspect the defense's and their progress which would keep her away from the palace for a few days. She too looked forward to tonight's ride as it would be the last for the time being. The day ended and both Arerto and Sabine headed for the stables and met each other kissing in the open air not caring who saw them.

The horse were already saddled so they mounted and headed out of the palace and the city to the open plains.
