A moment of peace

I awoke before him, I moved slowly and stroked my hair from his face. I carefully moved his arms from my waist and rolled off of the mattress. I walked back to my chambers to find an advisor stood outside. I was ready to throw the basin at him or her when they began to frantically wave their arms in defence.

‘No, no. no!’ they whispered, ‘I came to see if you two were alright?’ it was a females voice, she shuffled forwards ‘Is it true? Did you escape becoming a concubine?’ she asked.

‘I don’t know’ I replied, cautious of what I told this stranger.

‘It’s just that, the others are saying you refused and even saved that incubus the Queen beats’.

‘I didn’t save him’ I said in a harsh whisper, ‘the damage was already done, all I did was try to salvage what was left, and I hope I did’.

‘You need to run whilst you have the chance’ she said, grabbing my arm, she began to undo her robe. She revealed a swollen belly with a long scar down the middle.

‘I’m pregnant again’ she said and shook me ‘I can’t birth the eggs anymore so they cut them out’. She was close enough and had raised her head for me to see her battered face, scars at the side of the mouth where she had been forced to suck the King’s huge cock. ‘Get out’ she said again. A door opened in the distance and startled her, she glanced back and left.

I entered my chambers to see Kiriyama sat up looking at his body, he was pulling at his cock, assessing the damage the ring had done. I leant beside him and looked.

‘Thank you for helping me’ his tone quiet ‘no one’s been kind to me like that in a long time’.

‘I don’t know, but nothing good if we stay’ I thought for a moment before saying ‘If we stay here we might be executed, or worse, but we could go into the human realm, and there we might also die, but at least we will have chosen our fate’.

He looked at me with thoughtful eyes before saying ‘I have nothing left to lose but my life, I’m willing to take the risk’.

We looked at each other for a while, the silence broken by guards pouring into the room, seizing both of, we struggled but to no avail, the guards were red oni and twice our size. Luna appeared at the door and looked down at us. She looked at the sticky floor and smirked ‘Have fun did we?' she said in a mocking voice. Turing to the guards she barked at them ‘Take them to the dungeon and lock them in a cell’, she turned and strutted out of the room.
