Angel had thought they were done for, seeing the snapdragons were in deep pursuit. She thought that perhaps one of them would need to be left behind to survive, even after the surprise attack from the strange fairy hiding up in the tree, only for this strange holy light to have killed every single snapdragon in front of them.
Angel was shocked at the turn of events only to now properly see Marduk. Sure he was pregnant with eggs but... it was clear that he had flying capabilities and what she predicted: fire skills. "You... dragon person! This whole time... couldn't you have just... FLOWN AND BURNED THEM TO HELL!?" she snapped at Marduk. She seemed rather pissed off about the idea that they could've gotten this over with long ago. Regardless, what's done was done.
During the scolding she was giving to Marduk, she seemed to have noticed something. Where the snapdragons once were... there were some chests that seemed to have words etched into the wood. Angel approached them and looks over the words before seeing 'Angel' written on one. "Is this a gift from the gods?" Angel asked as she set down Eldra, opening to reveal the contents of the chest. She could swear there was music in the background as she opened the chest. Turning and held a hand up as... well she dropped everything from the chest in front of her. "Huh... for a moment I thought it would float in circles," Angel commented. She cleared her throat before she turned her attention to the dragonborn still asleep next to her. She decided to give it a try. Readying her arm, she rested her hand against Eldra's cheek, pulling back before slapping firmly "WAKE UP!!!"
Action: Investigates chest from the gods.
Finds from chest: Cloth sack (+5 to inventory, stat increase (+3 to any stat), spell scroll (pick a spell), Enchanted book (+5 stats, +2 spells or +3 stats, +1 spell), spear (+3 close & range combat d8 damage), and medical satchel (+3 herbs).
Action: slaps Eldra to awaken her ( 9 without close combat, 11 with close combat)
