"I... Did. Our relationship was kind of strange. It's not like with us and Master. Or even people who are dating. It..." She paused, trying to find the right words "I looked up to him. At one point I think I loved him. And I'd like to say he loved me too. But after being with Master..."

Blake looked at Jaune and smiled.

"The way Master treats us... Sure, he has his fun. And sure, we serve him. But he respects us. He cares for us. And he shows us how important we are to him..."

Jaune felt a knot in his stomach. He knew the girls felt strongly for him, but hearing Blake say this, and seeing everyone -- even the twins -- nod along as she said it. It was such a great feeling. He almost felt like he could cry.

"Anyway... I guess I never got that same feeling from Adam. I don't think he truly loved me. I don't know that he knows what love is."

Jaune could tell this upset her. But she was being call about it. Not her normal "fake calm" where she would just block something out and ignore it. She was confronting it. But not alone. She was confronting it with them.

Jaune stood up and approached her, gently taking her hand and pulling her to her feet. The two looked at one another, before Jaune leaned in and locked lips with her.

He felt all the stress and tension Blake had just built up leave - she slowly loosened.

As they pulled away, she looked at him with a glimmer in her eye.

"I'm proud of you" he said... And Blake immediately started crying, as a smile stretched across her face.

The biggest, miss genuine smile he had ever seen from her.
