A little trouble when leaving

Jon took the freedom to use the shower in the house and just as he got out, he could hear voices from the living room.

"Mom? What going on here?" he heard Faye, the daughter asked. Jon was a bit surprised that she noticed that something changed. Other people, last night seemed to adapt to the situation really quickly. Maybe it was that Faye had lived here for so many years already that the changes in reality only set in slowly. But of course, he could help with that.

From the car he could spot a young mother pushing a stroller over the road, as also on the sidewalk a black teen, who was leaning against a sign.

Jon watched both and the experience from earlier made him sort of curious for more changes.
