A little treat for Chanel

You wait until most students have left the room before making excuses and departing. You leave the building, taking your time as you stroll in the general direction of the Mellon building. Your gaze passes over groups of students, noting that many glance back, whispering to their companions, some of them giggling.

Eventually, you find what you're looking for. Chanel Vallon stands with a group of friends, all of whom look more animated and happy than her. She looks nervous and stressed, and you smile to yourself, imagining how much more stressed she'll soon be.

You walk past the Mellon building glancing at the windows as you pass. Seeing no one, you glance back and see that the landscaping effectively hides you from sight of the students in the quad. You quickly slip into a side door, climbing a staircase to the second floor as you listen for any sign of life.

You're in luck. The place seems deserted, or at least the second floor hallway is empty. You quickly slip down to Chanel's room, tapping on the door then opening it and stepping in. As expected, the room is empty, both beds made and the room tidied by the housekeeper. You step to Chanel's bed, picking up the teddy bear that sits on her pillow, and opening your briefcase.

You quickly slip on a pair of gloves and take out a utility knife. With a quick slice your open the bear's torso, spreading the fabric and pulling out the stuffing, placing the bear in the middle of the bed. Smiling, you take out the bag holding the broken Chanel No. 5 perfume bottle, and dump the fragments into the bear, topping your work with the note your wrote this morning.

'IF YOU GO DOWN IN THE WOODS TODAY YOU BETTER NOT GO ALONE. IT'S LOVELY DOWN IN THE WOODS TODAY, BUT BETTER TO STAY AT HOME.'

Grinning, you pull off the gloves and close your briefcase, listening at the door before stepping into the empty hallway and slipping down the stairs, exiting the building.
